I have a 2013 Lincoln Navigator L. The switch is to the top left of the brake peddle on mine hard to see, took me about 30 min to find it. The Ford house was going to charge me $250 to replace it, said it would take 1.5 hours. I bought the part at Auto Zone, $35. After finding it, took me less than 5 min to change. Thank you for the video.

My brake lights were stuck on and cruise control is inop in 2015 Mkz. Was worried the lights would drain my battery. Removing this switch of course turned off my brake lights, and hopefully getting the replacement in the morning will fix both issues. Will update. Your video was very helpful!!

Thanks for the video! My brake lights were constantly on and killed the battery. I had to take the fuse out (#71 I think, 2007 Lincoln MKX) between trips. What I've learned is that you can not put the car in gear if there is not a continuous flow from brake switch to circuit panel to brake lights, obviously a safety feature. What other blown fuses can cause the car not to operate? I mean blown fuse and you have to call a tow truck!

Which is why, when I ordered the replacement switch, I also ordered a 240 piece car fuse case!
