Question for anyone: do we become more attractive to mosquitoes and hornets?
I’ve been on carnivore for 525 days and feel amazing.
I’m 62 yrs old and was morbidly obese at 300 lbs and suffering from T2 diabetes, high blood pressure, IBS, migraines, brain fog, acid reflux, chronic arthritis in my ones so bad I could hardly walk, depression, anxiety and a lot more.
Well here I am now and I’ve not only lost 97 lbs…
ALL of the above conditions are in full remission or cured and I’m off ALL MEDS.
My energy levels, mental clarity and focus is off the charts and I look and feel like I’m in my 20’s again.
My decision to change my way of eating from the SAD diet to carnivore was one of the best decisions of my life. 😊
@@Papacarnivore15 what did you start with in your food changes?
Well done!!
Inspirational thank you for your honest testimony. 🙏 we always need to keep hearing the truth to stay motivated and on track. It works when we can keep off carbs and this is the challenge for all sorts of reasons. Today I made carnivore flatbread with cottage cheese and eggs and filled it with goasts cheese just to keep me off carbs all round me here. So satisfying and soothing I find when only eating carnivore food. Beef and eggs are my daily best food choice
good for you
@@Papacarnivore15 Great work PC! I'm your age too. 6 months CD. I had time to research in late '21 after being sacked from my dream job for not taking the 'nasty needles'.
Eventually discovered CD for myself as a result. I had been sorta low sugar/carb for years before, so the transition wasn't too difficult for me.
I dropped 10kg, my skin complexion improved, heart palpitations stopped, need less sleep & my head is clearer & my temperament is calmer.
I’m a 16 year carnivore. Meat and eggs only. I’m 65 years old. Optimal health.
The same age , 2 years carnivore, waisted 63 years on eating wrong "food". Still can't convince my adult kids to this lifestyle. They think I'm weird. My wife 99% Carnivore now.
@@borispetkau1246I have the same issue. Everyone thinks I’m crazy except my sister who started a month ago 😍 my year is coming in a couple weeks. Meat is the medicine. Off all my medication. Feeling wonderful
@@borispetkau1246ditto my kids think the same
That's awesome! So you don't eat Greek yogurt? It's just meat and eggs?
Why did you do it. Crazy at the time. Now a fad for fatties
“There’s no intuitive eating, when you’re eating addictive foods.” 💥💥💥💥
@taracrist4126 🌹
Thank you thank you thank you. It’s the old adage ‘Rome was not built in a day’. Years and years of poor four choices/eating will not resolve overnight. I am 70 and have only in the last few years admitted to myself that I had a very real fear of going hungry, and more recently that I have battled food addiction for so much of my life. Praise God I am now on the road to improving my health and vitality with lots of meat and fat no carbs.
I actually started as “dirty” Keto for several months (with the keto snacks and treats), then went Clean Whole Foods Keto for several months, then Ketovore and have been full Carnivore for the past year.
I still drink one cup of “fatty” coffee every morning (with heavy cream and grass fed butter), I sometimes will have a half an avocado or some low carb veg with my meat, and some occasional berries but for the most part I eat fatty (mostly red) meat, seafood and eggs, butter and cook my steaks in beef tallow.
I feel best when I keep my fat macros high (70-80%) and I eat 2 meals per day with intermittent fasting, with a 18/6 (6 hour eating window) so I stay in Ketosis as long as possible. I have done a few 24 hour fasts just bc I wasn’t hungry, but I don’t enjoy feeling hungry so I don’t force myself to fast.
I hope this helps!😊
Your diet is NOT carnivore.
@@majafleur9646 what is your point? Are you the carnivore police???
The textbook definition of a carnivore is any animal who consumes 70% or more of their diet is animal products.
Dr Bart Kay, one of the most prominent carnivore doctors and influencers in the world has mentioned this on many occasions.
But if you insist on trying to police or bully others, that is your right so go right ahead.
You sound silly however when you do so. 😊🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮
I look forward to hitting 15 plus years as a carnivore. Thank you both for all you do in the community!
me too ❤
I'm not, because that will be in 13 years, and I will be metabolically 5 years older. 👍
Thank you both for questioning the efficacy of Fasting for all low-carb adherents. If it works for some folks, great. But it’s not for me, having spent my first eighteen years semi-starved. What I like most about my current carnivore lifestyle is that I never ever go to bed hungry. May everyone be so blessed. 🙏
@@1timbarrett Actually when your mind tell you exactly what to do the meaning is different You fast because of its benefits is totally different when you fast because body image , Buddhist monk they don’t eat after noon time for thousands years I do believe they substitute meditation for food
@@tuyendo7409If I eat beef, butter eggs and salt for breakfast I have no desire to eat after 12'noon.
Agreed. I will never starve myself again…
OMAD and fasting works for me. I eat a hyrbid Keto/canivore diet. The message to take from this video is not to eat processed foods full of carbs ie starch and sugar typically wheat and grains based foods with all the deadly oils and additives. Eat whole foods from fresh.
Fasting doesn't work when the metabolism is wreaked, and your then going to have carbs to break the fast. That's a see saw lifestyle and more stressful for the system, and the body will go into starvation mode and keep the weight on.
I have been on and off carnivore for nearly 10 years. I am currently working through a health scare that has made me commit 100%.
NOT doing carnivore is a huge mistake.
My journey into carnivore actually started with one of Lisa Wiedeman's video where she talked about eye health and just mentioned that she is not only not using any of the highly processed seed oils but also follows a carnivore diet. This was the first seed that started me on my research and eventually a carnivore lifestyle. I have been on carnivore diet since late October last year and have seen a lot of positive changes. From a body composition perspective I'm today (nearly 60 y.o.) like I was in my early thirties, gone are GERD and skin problems, as I realized later I probably had undiagnosed t2 diabetes, that now I don't have any signs of. Unfortunately carnivore didn't miraculously cure my sick eye, but hopefully removing a lot of underlying issues it is going to help me to preserve vision in my other eye. Becoming a carnivore wasn't the easiest of journeys, I could not get rid of diarrheav for about three months and my wife had serious issues with oxalate dumping, but eventually we managed to overcome these problems. To those who are at a very beginning of their journey I'd like to say not to get discouraged, as you will start feeling real health benefits six to nine months after your lifestyle change. It took a lot of years to develop all the problems we have, so it doesn't take overnight to get rid of them all. Thank you Judy for this guest and thank you Lisa for being the first ray of light that has shown me the way!
Good to hear this..I'm only on my 32nd day on this journey. Have IBS..so far I have lost weight..I'm still experiencing weakness and heart palpitations on and off. I eat beef, chicken, lamb and beef liver
sea food
I still take enzymes and probiotics due to my IBS. My sleep is not that good .wake up so early everyday.
: fish, shrimps, muscles, scallops and eggs
Thank you. Approaching 1 year Carniversery. Feeling wonderful!!!
"Dr. Lisa and Judy, I'm grateful for your support. All the women in the carnivore community are a blessing - you're strong, feminine, beautiful, gorgeous, and sexy, embodying the true essence of womanhood. Thank you for inspiring and uplifting one another!"
I'm celebrating on the carnivore diet, which has helped me overcome cravings & now CZcams videos therapeutic workout become incredibly strong! I now thrive in a fasted state, crush it at the gym, and enjoy massive ribeye steaks (2-3 pounds!). Wishing you all the best on your health journeys! I'm still a big kid at 51, loving life. Thanks carnivore community.
So happy to hear your healing! Keep going thriving!
Miss Judy, I'm so glad that you invited Dr.LISA WIEDMAN, ☺️ I really appreciate her mindset all around binging and being aware of our addictions and emotional mindset ... Thanks to you "women's, sister's, coach's, guid's, inspiring's souls" ... 🧙♂️🇨🇦
100% agree love that carnivore is just easy! Batch cooking, shopping, was so stressful each week now it’s in & out of the store & easy cooking no prep. That’s why I love it.
I still drink organic coffee with raw cream and stevia and have lost 15 pounds and my body is healing. 90 days in. I only eat ribeye eggs bacon lamb butter tallow and occasional shrimp lobster and cheese.
The fat keeps me satisfied. I was a serious over eater but since I started this diet and higher fat my body tells me your done eating. That never happened to me before.
If you foam the cream the sugars come out and you might even be able to reduce or stop your fake sugar! Works for me.
Sound's similar to me. My breakfast treat is prawns in butter with 4 scrambled eggs with parmasen cheese and a hint of pure cream and salt and cook it over the cooked prawns like an omelette. I also love eye fillets and lamb and mince and fish and quality organic coffee. But I expect to give even coffee up eventually, too, because it will only induce gastro when on a carnivore diet. Seems to me carbs need coffee but carnivore doesn't need any extra dopamine hits nor assistance in digestion like the S.A.D
@@tinakathleen8571 The organic coffee I drink doesn’t affect my digestion at all but it does mess with my adrenals if I do too much.
As a cake maker for over 30 years its saying no to baking to myself and everyone else. Its a huge change and sometimes when i feel too happy or syressed put i might eat a treat and its a set back each time. So pushing it out with better choices is the best way. Flatbread made from cottage cheese and eggs filled with goats cheese is a nice treat as a carnivore eater.
Do you have a recipe.? That would be a great treat.
2 eggs 1 cup of cottage cheese or ricotta....blended poured /spread onto a rectangular baking tray lined....bake 20 -40 min depending on your oven in a moderate oven ....keep checking top will be brown bottom pale.....lots of videos on you tube 😊
My meal on repeat lately is a prawn omelette each day usually for breakfast. 4 eggs and a handful of frozen prawns sometimes with a little garlic in butter then add scrambled egg mixture of 3 or 4 eggs with a hint of pure cream and greated parmasen cheese and salt. Cook and flip and serve. Happy comfy food also healthy.
Finally a CARNIVORE who straight up says it doesnt work for everyone! Love the honesty
That's not uncommon most carnivores are trying to improve their health not tell others what's right or wrong for them.
Carnivore is not right for everyone because you have to change it up for those who can not or will not follow through. And that means getting through the time your body is reseting. Oxalate purging, keto flu, getting fat adapted, sugar withdrawal.
Carnivore works for everyone because it is our native diet!
So don't read to much into the way she said Carnivore doesn't work for everyone. Not true, everyone is not ready to commit to Carnivore, this is true!!❤❤
Good luck!!
Listening to this, I believe I just had an epiphany. Many of my family and friends have battled different addictions. Time to address MY addiction in my way.
I remember comments about her looking olde. They assumed she was 20 years younger.
She looks great in real life. I forget all the time that she's turning 60!
@@NutritionwithJudyshe looks beautiful!

Just a follow-up from the suggestion Judy gave me in a comment on my comment on the last video I watched. She suggested activated charcoal to process out toxins and I've been taking them for 2 weeks and for the first time in 4 years my face is finally starting to clear up! So I agree sometimes you need something else besides carnivore.
ahhh, how exciting! Hope you continue to heal. ❤
That's awesome, I bought some and haven't taken it yet. I'm so glad to hear you are having success!
Being in the sun just 15 min once a week takes my 19yo’s acne away
She uses a 15spf but usually we use a 50 lol (we re quite light skinned)
Great idea, I used long ago when I consumed alcohol.
Would you please share the protocol for charcoal. I recall 2 hr before/after eating or meds , so not to interfere with nutrient absorption . Is bedtime best. I recall with plenty of water, to prevent constipation. But then I have to get up while sleeping to use restroom. Maybe during IF times. Thank you!
What's the dose you take and is it everyday?
Fantastic video. Thank you.
❤❤❤❤. This was one of the best discussions ever for those of us that have food addictions or disordered eating. You really are giving us HOPE and permission to take Baby Steps while we learn to listen to our feelings as we work to heal. Mind Body Spirit is key to help heal.
Would that ED ppl ignore the whole ED industry and get real healing!

Dave Mac (zero carb or no carbs, I get confused) has now interviewed I think 550 individuals. Their real stories are great, if you haven't come across him. But the YT algorithm probably ensures that you have. 😅
Two of my favourites! Yay. Thank you for this wonderful, encouraging and informative conversation.
Im sorry, but this conflicting conversation about all the conflicting content about the conflicting stories of the conflicting...this was all very conflicting.
Your pod cast was great up to this point. Tell the story and tell it true, it is up to all of us to research a topic several times. Once i find the guys and gals that i trust, i don't go looking for someone else to try to change my mind.
The other thing that is more helpful than most people trying to convince you, is to listen to real people telling their story...so much powerful information.
Dave mac...has a hell of a podcast that all of his guest tell their stories. We all can pick up powerful information and no one to argue with, because they are telling you their story and their why and who they listened too. Awesome stuff!!❤❤
Thanks! I love to listen to Dr. Lisa. Now I love listening to you two!
Great conversation!! Two brilliant women! Thank you!!
Lisa has such good insight into food addiction and disordered eating. I’m 3 years Carnivore and still find myself eating huge plates of meat. I am very strict with the quality but the only thing that stops me eating too much is that I am sooo full and simply cannot eat any more. I have recognised that I still have that tendency to overeat, but once I’ve walked away from the table, the thoughts are gone and I won’t be hungry for quite a few hours.
Butter with the meat? Or before?
Butter fills me like nothing else
Thank you Judy for a great discussion with DrLisa.
Love Dr. Lisa❤ I enjoyed this discussion, Ty
This touched on several of my issues, particularly the process of identifying what is right for me as I become more carnivore
Yes trusting your own body's cue is so important. ❤
I can't tell you how much I appreciate this video!
I understand more about what I am dealing with concerning my eating issues!
This video has definitely given me some things to think about. Thank you!
This so a wonderful interview!! Loved it! So helpful ❤ Thank you!!
Ohhh this is soo good: as someone in recovery and have my masters, learning to take what I need and leave the rest. And I follow people who repeat over and over, this is what works for me; you need to find your n=1.
While I wish I would have had this stuff years ago, I'm actually glad I have lived experience and working towards healing.
Keep finding what works for you!
So true; it’s not one size fits all. And food is just one piece of the puzzle of health and well being. It’s individual trial and error, and trusting ourselves instead of looking for external validation.
Gahhh this resonated so deeply! I needed this. So much wisdom and truth.
This is such an under represented topic. Thank you for this. So many perspectives that are just completely absent from other carnivore/animal based videos
I can’t help it - I have to say Judy - that shirt is adorable!!!
I agree love those colours too
60!! You go girl 😂😂😂. Look fabulous
Please do your CAC score (Calcium Artery Score) Dr. W, just to prove it to everyone. My Mom has been Atkins keto and low carb on and off since the 1970s. She even had us Keto in the 70s. She still has a perfect ZERO score on her scan every time.
Just had one done they say it's 191.?.help
I'm 79 at 127 lbs off sugar , 20 grams carb. Need to fix this
Kelly Hogan has a perfect CAC score of zero after 12-13 years.

This all resonates with me so much! Definitely believe hidden eating disorder may be the culprit 🥴
Dr Lisa is one of my favorites! Love this interview!

Yes she’s great Adrian…!!😊
I drink LMNT all day it gives me zero carb cravings. Stevia doesn’t do that to me. 90 days of absolutely zero carbs or sugar and I have zero cravings. And the electrolytes help me a lot.
So encouraging to hear this story 😊
I love Lisa, I follow her on IG. You always have the best guests on!
Love Dr Lisa❤
This was a great video. Thank you ladies.
I’m 14 years raw carnivorous and can confirm these diets can work longterm.
Raw?
The message to take from this video is not to eat processed foods full of carbs ie starch and sugar typically wheat and grains based foods with all the deadly oils, sweetners, preservatives and additives. Cook and eat whole foods from fresh.
This is great advice, but for some people that isn't enough. Some of us have to eat just meat to switch on our true health.
9:02 If anyone gets the chance, try to attend one of Dr. Weidemans carnivore retreats. It's an intimate way to learn so much. The small amount of people she hosts allows her to really dig into the why. She allows you to ask all those questions and to verbalize your concerns in a perfect manner. I came away from that retreat rejuvenated and committed to a healthier lifestyle. And she's just a wonderful person to boot. Do yourself a favor and look her up, then book your retreat. Best money I ever spent.
Where is this retreat?
When i started keto I was scared to death that it would be impossible to stick too. I had a friend who had successfully lost and kept off weight and they suggested that if I just jumped in 100% it would seem much harder so set up strict but realistic guidelines and that worked for me. Basically my guidelines were: strict keto (>20g total carbs/day) during the work week (mon morn until off work Friday) and the freedom to choose non keto foods on Saturday, what is served when having super at a friends and just choosing the most keto option that I enjoy from a restaurant. I felt like I had a lot of freedom so it wasn’t ’restricting’… i found as time went on and as the result became more and more obvious I wanted the carbs less and less. Over ~75lbs lost and kept off for a decade and a half now… about 95% Carnivore now because it’s what i enjoy… i do season with hot peppers and leeks that I grow myself and will cheat now and then with something sweet like on my birthday I had an Asian pear… i do find that when eating almost purely meat, I end up eating 1 meal a day… i was about a year in when i learned that it was actually a thing… i just found that the fat/protein based meal i just can’t eat multiple times a day… and now i love how much extra time i have each day.. .
Good interview!
Great interview! 15 yrs! Wow!
Great video the insight was fabulous. One day I pulled into a convenience store. I was working and that little samples of the frozen yogurt and I just had one with an hour. I went to two other ice cream places and got big Sunday and that’s when I realize I said oh God, I haven’t made an impact but recently we are working on a job it was over 100° and this guy shows up with all these little tiny bowls and a big thing of ice cream. I took the smallest bowl I could find just a sample and I had it and I didn’t need anymore. It was like not as good, so hopefully things are starting to work on me, but I have a lot
You both looked great, I guess I have been trying off and on but never see it through . Listen to this show. I think now I’m going to go in fully with carnivore!!
Love your guest, thank you.
When I eliminated sweet TASTE I felt much less drawn to it at all
No diet pop etc (never used pricey sweet paks of electrolytes)
Butter was my fat of choice but crisped beef fat is awesome also. Fat satiation subs for the need for sweet.
I can so relate. Seven years carnivore but I do fall off the wagon. Even a tiny tangerine will lead me to eating hubby’s carbs. I do have recurring foot nerve pain on carnivore so I start thinking I need some vitamin c. So I’m caught between carnivore and experimenting with foods to counter gout. One thing that helps is keeping my protein to a minimum of 60 grams a day and upping the fat to 140 grams a day.
Sounds like a b vitamin issue. You may need to fix your vitamin d level so your microbiome can produce b vitamins for you.
I agree that nerve issues are related to B vitamins. I love Seeking Health's B complex with choline, they have the best bioavailable forms in their supps.
Dr Boz talks about gout
It’s actually carb caused
Stay off the carbs!
Do you eat chicken? It’s the only food that triggers my dad’s gout.
Bacon has roughly a ration of almost equal fat & protein. Pork belly is pure and you can cure it with butcher salt at home. So eating 1-2 pounds of meat per day with bacon / pork belly being a significant portion is fine.
Dr. Jason Fung has mentioned a Bacon & Egg fast. It is really hard to want to eat a pound of bacon and a dozen eggs. You might eat that over (3) meals.
I can eat half lb easily
No prob afterward with the fat either
Plus eggs
I eat only beef bacon the last few years but pork bacon, oh yes
i am soooo amazed so far on my results after only 11 days i am down 16 lbs and feeling great no keto flu at all ( knock on wood ) i must of had alot of inflammation staying the coarse for at least 90 days to maybe until March of 2025 cheers from Vulcan Canada
Yeah great idea Lisa. Yellow is a freindly colour and great idea to use a signal to help us know each other esepcially on a cruise say
Thank you.
Thank you ❤
This whole discussion is about carnivore being hard, but for me it's the exact opposite. Having the food noise turned off makes this way of eating very easy for me and reportedly many other people.
Me too. I don’t get what the heck they’re talking about. If you’re truly going carnivore and you’re eating enough fat you get satisfied. I don’t care what kind of food is all around me. I don’t want to eat it. I have no desire. I’m not in a battle. This has been the easiest diet I’ve ever done in my life. And I’ve done a lot. Vegan raw vegan, you name it. After listening to tons of carnivores the last three months, I haven’t heard anybody talk like this.
I’m out of here !
It's not hard once you are over the period of adaptation.... especially if you're plagued with many health issues which gives strong motivations.
But it can be challenging otherwise if your goal is not as ambitious (weight Lost/muscle gain, etc)
@michaelbattista1334 There have been many very difficult periods for me. Recovered alcoholic with a brain fine tuned to addiction and pleasure seeking. I've also suffered from depression and major health issues over the last few years. Often times indulging in junk food would be the pleasure or comfort I could steal from and entire day or week. Doing all the things that you know should be bringing fulfillment but feeling empty and disconnected. I found the direction given here invaluable
Those electrolytes with sweetners can definetly hinder your progress, if you are a sugar addict. By cutting out all sweet taste, its 100% easier to not want anything sweet. 😊
When I hit a massive weight stall and cut out the flavored electrolytes, it broke my stall.
Also, I believe the artificial sweeteners in the electrolytes was triggering my sugar/carb cravings so I took them out and feel a lot better..
And I’m now down to my lowest weight so far too!😊
@@Papacarnivore15 thats awesome. Thanks you for sharing :) i had a bit too much mozzarela yeasterday and i am bloated and puffy :(
Not IF you are a sugar addict. We all are addicted to sugar, sugar is in every thing processed. Sugar has 62 different names.
Our bodies react negatively to even small amounts of sugar. If you have a cancer that you are not aware of, ...sugar is going to grow that tumor until you become aware of the cancer.
So SUGAR IS EVIL....
Great interview thankyou
Wow what a beautiful woman at 60 years old! Her skin looks amazing! Carnivore makes me feel great. I’m documenting my own carnivore journey on my CZcams channel. I suffer from gout and joint pain. I believe carnivore will cure it! Let’s go! 👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks!
What a great interviewer...
There are complexities to carnivore - it has to be customized to the person. That is the understatement of the century!!!
That was encouraging, even if I never get to a place where carnivores are gathered! We just have to do our best with whoever God sends us. 🙏💌
I'm 69 and considering eating carnivore. I'm concerned about getting diahrea or keto flu. I have a lot of health issues and would love more energy and stop spending so much time in bed. Thanks so much sharing! Working on getting brave
Get started yesterday if you get diarea is going to be ok means you get clean up 😊
You can ease into carnivore by starting with a ketogenic diet, no starches no sugar, and eat more meat/eggs/fish as you go until you are getting confortable eating carnivore
Please, Robin, just do it. Get your life back. I wish I could convince my sister and my mother.
Two words. Do it!
Gastro isn't a given and I observed it's when you don't fully give up caffeine that gastro may kick in. But gastro is body cleaning out the rubbish anyways.
You look really good! Great job on your journey and definitely carnivore is the way to go…
Yes, for me is a cheese too, specially called “Brick” cheez , so yammy and eating after a meal good for your gums and teeth
I feel the best when eating only ruminant animals. Chicken isn't as nourishing to me, and I gave up pork and bottom feeding seafood several years ago. Carnivore diet has changed my life, and it's been less than four months. I can't see ever going back to high carbs and oxalates. I feel like I'm getting younger, and I'll be 63 next month.
When I went to the doctor my blood pressure was always high. I was on bp meds and he wanted me to get an echocardiogram. He must have told them that he expected heart failure and lo and behold they did.
I knew it was wrong so I went to the Cleveland clinic.
My heart is perfect. It’s 100% (60-65%)
I believe the doctor can influence the outcome of a test by telling the testor what to expect.
I am now on carnivore for over a year. First months my psoriasis cleared up. A few months ago I started having honey nuts and blueberries. Also adapt to people I eat with.
I don’t go into binge mode but even like once a week having a little bread or pasta caused my disease to return.
I wonder if the disease would go away again if I was stricter to carnivore.
If you were part of my practice, I would recommend going stricter and seeing how you do. If your psoriasis clears, stay there for a while. Then see what threshold (amount and frequency) you can add back blueberries without getting any patches of psoriasis. I don't recommend honey nuts. If you can't do any (organic) blueberries, then you may just need to support the gut for a little while longer on carnivore and see if you can add non-carnivore foods back later. Healing takes time and the internet is not good with sharing the truth that sometimes that time for healing is longer than we wish.
@@NutritionwithJudy thank you Judy, I shall follow your advice.

Does it help with menopause ? I'm 59 and was on patches which did help but it wasn't right for me. It took me 4 attempts to come off them and on the 5 attempt I have been off them for 6months. I'm coping, I have stopped sugars and processed food which has help. Great podcast ladies thank you 😊
If she's turning 60 God has blessed her with the fountain of youth don't look a day over 45
She blessed herself with the knowledge of the carnivore diet. She would not look this amazing if she had been eating a poor diet.
I use soda maker to generate my own chilled unflavor soda water. I feel wonder taking tjis carbonated water after a warm meal. Is it good to take pure carbonated water? thx
Yes, my wife is on SAD. She isn't on board with PHD. It makes it difficult to stay on course.
Excellent dialog.

My BIL who is strict vegan talks about meat faces. Says meat eaters have puffiness that is identifiable. Btw he is in his mid 70s and still has a well defined, muscular body. Not sure what to think now.
@lisaweedman thanks for flying your freak flag ❤❤❤ I am type 1 and just celebrated my one year anniversary ❤❤❤
Qqq. Judy. Love your work. I have been dirty carnivore for two years. I am trying desperately to go the whole deal. But still fighting sugar cravings etc. I have been using an app to follow my food intake. And it tells me that I should eat less protien because my homeosistine levels will increase causing me to have arterial sclerosis. Question is do you think this is truly the case. They recommend 1palm size portion a day ???
Wow I thought I had a hard diet. Carnivore sounds tough. Good luck!!
Not as tough as it sounds.
What they mean by unsustainable is environmental. The alternative to the carnivore diet is not necessarily pop tarts and potato chips. Whole food vegan is an alternative too. I am so skeptical of this diet. Yet I am interested too. Can I do it my whole life? Because the backlash if you stop it is weight gain and then some.
Tickbite red meat allergies? Have you heard of it? What to do? I tried carnivore for 3 months.. got so many benefits in lba and amino levels, but couldnt stomach meats anymore.. and I was so terribly bloated/constipated no matter what the fat intake was. Please help?
QUESTION: I'm out camping and find mosquitos and hornets flying around me mostly especially when im eating. Ive gotten numerous mosquito bites and one hornet bite when i wasn't even eating. This is more than the usual for me. Ive been on Carnivore for 49 days. Granted, it hasn't been perfect Carnivore. Sometimes I eat a bit of fruits and or vegetables.
Carnivore is the only way of eating that has healed my body. No joint pain, my hair is soft, my skin is soft, my skin has cleared. When I ate vegan and a ton of plants & grains I always felt ill.
I love carnivores, but I was reading that modern day carnivore is to acidic & we need some bicarbonate. This was a video by James DiNicolantonio. Drinking peligrino water for minerals. Looking for suggestions on what others think.
I gather neither of you drink alcohol or coffee? I have tried C a nu ber of times but find it too restrictive and complicated when socializing and eating out. Good on you both for your dedication.
