A1C Donovan Holmes describes his experience as a White Rope during training at Sheppard AFB and how his newly gained skills will carry through to his first operational base.
So...like a guidance counselor?!?! How in THE FUCK is an 18yr old E-3 with no fuckin experience qualified for this?!?!?!? Are they going to take accountability for AWOLs, domestic violence, suicides?????
@@ejmolloy2954 well a chaplain's assistant would most resemble a teal rope, which does take months of training to get, and even then your scope of responsibilities is rather narrow. You can think of being a rope as similar to being the hall monitor in school, at least in terms of accountability an responsibility.
@@ejmolloy2954 dude, I was an AIT at Sheppard for 4 fucking months, I think I know a little more about the rope program there than your outdated webpage.
@@belac738 definitely not jealous lol trust me, i know everyone plays their part but i would hate to have that airman’s job & i didn’t realize how soft the air force was, holy sheet

That's not his actual job, it's just some extra duty he volunteered for.
@@pau3203 yeah it is. Any duty is a job whether it's your MOS, BMM or extra duty. A white rope is basically a Chaplain's assistant.

@@pau3203 do yourself a favor, look up the white rope tech school program personally.

he's in the 365th training squadron, they're basically the high school nerds of the air force.
