I would love to see a video on zone knowledge! I have been wanting to learn how to predict zones but don't know about how to go about it or what's the best way to learn.
First of all u should Pick a Champion that can predict zones through the Scanner and second the zone always pulls towards the deadzone. So when you see the next zone on the map u can predict that there, where the next circle touches the deadzone, the zone moves to.
Easiest way for me to “predict” zones is the way he explained it. It pulls to the small side of zone and storm. Or the zone side closest to the storm is most likely where the zone will close to. Now don’t kill me lol 😅😂
Just experience dude take note of how cone pulls in your game and try to remember it for next time

I would love to see a video on zone knowledge prior to S16 i'd predict ring with like 90% accuracy but now i feel like i can only do it from Ring 3 but even then i feel like there are some Wild pulls
Tip #3 is my favorite. Be flexible with team comps. Have a rotation your familiar with. Don’t be hard stuck on one legend

I rotate legends like there was a random button. Loba caustic octane wraith bloodhound and sometimes lifeline. I hate being lifeline but I think she’s better for rez since you can fight also. I just hate playing her cause of everyone’s crying ability when they go down and you don’t get to them in time so you’re trash. 😂

I agree season 1 vet but i play 5 games a day tops , all I can stand. In solo rank . Just not fun anymore. Not even worth grinding. Been a Master several times, almost got Predator last season.
What is with the teams in ranked. They're just so bad. Like completely on another level of trash. 0.2 K\d ratio players. It feels like the enemy players aren't any better than pubs but my teams are far worse than in pubs. People listen to call outs in pubs more than ranked. Its so weird.

@@tdestroyer4780Opposite for me. I've been getting masters and even predators in my lobbies constantly and I'm gold last season with 0.5 kds. I'm even in bronze right now but 70% of players in my lobby is masters or at least diamond
i played solo and im master now, this season is easy af 😂
A ring knowledge video would be great, not have to be very specific, but i think i brief read of the ring during the game is very helpful
apex ring prediction on google, literally he said all you need to know, put the map in 4 and try to predict, rest are patterns you memorize in some weeks doing it in the real map and like 5 minutes or less to the trainer, i personally think is better to understand strong position in that areas, with strangers is valuable in gold and platinum, below those is a waste of time, most players i play with play edge or die in seconds in silver, bronze and rookie due to lack of experience, in higher ranks people follow orders easily, fight faster and behave according to the needs of the team
I just started back playing apex a few weeks ago n this video fits me all. I'll die off spawn n I get Tilted when I get no kills or when I lack zone awareness. Keeping these tips in mind will help me as a player cause I'll know I don't need 10 kills every game. Maybe 10 kills n then 3 kills with 2 assists consistency is key not kp.

Best tip to zone control is quicker looting and learning to get by without sights and attachments. So many people show up too late to 3rd parties because that ine guy had to run back for a stock 😅

Currently, I'm platinum 2.
This season has by far been the most challenging to solo que.
I haven't improved drastically as a player, yet the opposition HAS.
Also, I've been checking my teammates after the match; I only get silver/bronze teammates whilst solo queuing in platinum.
It's difficult to maintain consistency, when the matchmaking is as such.
I don't use discord, or anything else.
I'll probably just stay hardstuck platinum.
This season is nothing but 100% accuracy + team-firing 3v1's.
My 1v3's are like, doodoo now.
Honestly, I should just make a new account for ranked.
Seems like that's what everyone else does.
I just hate to be punished for having a highly invested in account.

The problem is though that most evasive people that are really hard to catch, and give you long chases, are generally the most cracked players. Sometimes, if it’s a 4K team, you just keep going until you know you got him out of the game because he’s the only problem that you have seen. At the same time you don’t want to follow them into a death trap. Because the enemy is going to be running to a third-party to try to get lost in the mix.
I ranked rookie 1, and it’s so hard to rank up with the amount of smurfs
Idk about tip 3, It’s easier for me to raise my rating on practical non-meta characters such as Seer, Vantage and Crypto
I think Mirage should have a rework tactical, where his dummy fights for him, but doesn’t actually deal damage. It’s just a bigger bamboozle, Making it harder to guess which one is the real one. Maybe do the same with his ultimate as well, I don’t know to be honest I wouldn’t know how to rework mirage.
1. Play as a team. If your team wants to play zone, play zone with them. Forcing them to play edge is not going to go well, and vice versa. Be flexible.
2. Prioritise off angles and high grounds when fighting. And constantly switch between them during fights for easy trades.
3. Don’t rush directly into fights. Take a breath before and scout for a few seconds. Consider the position you want to take. Consider the enemy champs/ abilities. Consider if you’re going to get third partied etc. If you’re third partying someone else, be sure the enemies are fully engaged before entering.
4. Play around your champs, and your own personal strengths and weakness. I.e Don’t die first as life line. Know when and how to smoke as bang. Etc etc
Bonus tip: Get a good team comp that synergises (e.g. zone or edge). And don’t pick 3 champs from the same category.
And lastly, none of this matters if you’re just want to have fun 😎
These are not really helpful for solo q players. Can’t rely on random cause the tends to do random things like going after the entire lobby. That’s the reason why I’m stuck. I can’t rat to get LP it’s boring and annoying

Why is it now though that I’m actually hard stuck bronze/silver after being diamond season 7-13 with season 12 masters. All my lobbies I’m getting pushed by the sweatiest squads constantly.
What happens if my teammates are downed and there is an entire squad next to them?

I play loba because she is extremely versatile and can play edge or zone or a support or and aggressive playstyle.
she’s not meta at all but she can be useful. meta is really only relevant for competitive apex since ranked will always be a toss up who is being selected. that said, some characters are definitely stronger than others. i would say the meta right now is conduit, bangalore, fuse, and even catalyst.
My randoms are holding me back. They drop with 3+ teams. Beeline to the nearest fight using no cover or plan, die, the verbally berate me for not committing to their decision to be apex community service, gifting other teams free LP. I’m really just over this game. It’s unrewarding across the board. I’m constantly getting teammates who don’t understand the rank system, they’re literally surprised when I say early kills don’t really matter anymore. AND I’m constantly paired with rookies and bronze when playing solo despite being gold myself. Out of my last 15 games, every single one was with bronze or rookie rank players. Literally 100% of my last 15 games. I’m sick of it
Dope tips but ranked has been a joke for 3 seasons in a row now. The matchmaking is horrible for Gold-Diamond players and it being so bad genuinely makes me wonder if there’s just not enough players. Also about playing meta, I agree and disagree :) I really think it’s a better idea to play who you’re comfortable with and who you want to.
depends on the server and time you play, usually when there isnt enough players you will be team with lower levels, and with same level when there are enough, in my server around 18 to 21 i get match with players in my same level or one level below bronze 1 for example, in other hours i get match with rookie and bronze 4 im silver 3, mostly i hate to play with lower levels because they dont know when to escape, or get away from the team to loot in a more huge area, also they dont even heard team needs even if you pinned it many times
I 100% do not want to increase my ELO. As a matter of fact. I hate the fact that Apex ELO punishes you after you get a victory, so I artificially lower my ELO after I win. I’m also diamond if that means anything idk (obviously no way to modify ELO ranked). Played since day one.

the meta is only useful for know what ur mostly gonna go against . i have about 1k hours as rampart no matter how good the meta is it cant replace the muscle memory.
That's why I think it's important to play all legends. At least in pubs. So you can learn all the other characters' playstyles and will learn how to counter them better. Then you can add tactics you learned from 1 legend and adjust them onto Rampart.
Okay I have a genuine question and I swear it has nothing to do with ego. I literally started playing apex this season for the first time after years of peerpressure. Ive played many shooters on higher levels but apex definitely seems to be one of the hardest games next to OW and Siege that I've played.
So I decided to document my journey and after 2 months in Im just about to hit Plat and I wanted to ask if plat is pretty much the average rank in this game or not? My mmr also seems to be really brutally high for some reason, I essentially only play in master lobbies, some wins give me up to 450 points sometimes depending.
But with that said I wanted to add to people that I have 0 decent movement, I know hot to tap strafe and walljump but ingame i barely ever even use it, so all that gives me traction is my aim and positioning. So I wanted to emphasis coming in as a complete newbie that focusing on movement at the start is the worst thing you can do. Movement has to be perceived as an escape route incase you positioned poorly. And given how Ive worked myself up to high ranks in many games is this and this will change your life: Never ever take multiple tasks and concepts on you at once.
So lets say your positioning is decent and aiming is fair enough and you'd like to learn basic movement, then choose either tap strafe or walljump, not both. And only do 1 of them for 1-2 weeks straight. Walljump off of every wall you find and even do it when you know you could die, but if you dont do it youll never actually ingrain it into your muscle memory. Hence never take multiple tasks on you at once, except once you get versed and used to it. But my secret was always to focus on one, combined with aim training. So yea, I have essentially no movement and im pretty much plat, but I have no idea if thats any good or not, seems average to me? Aiming for diamond this seas!

Gameleap itself alone has essentially gotten me in 1.5 months to this level. Watch 30-60mins of their videos, write down key things, practice them in the range and then ingame.
So with that said, Gameleap you guys are great and I hope I didnt setp on anyones toes here by wanting to help people abit on the concept of helping themselves rather than just being shown you now. Like any skill in life :) Learning how to learn is possibly the most valuable skill anyone can possess, which seperates the good from the great :)
None of this matters with MMR ranked, you can be the most terrible player and still get pred based off what rank is now
There is no low elo anymore. Ive been playing the same lobbies since ive been in silver. Masters and preds every game

Here's the biggest tip. Dont play ranked. Its just not competitive at all.

@@liamu1017 because something isn't legit about it. People have long suspected noobs get fed to sweats, but only to certain sweats. Like there's a secret list to get good lobbies or something. SBMM was made for profit. Not for a better gamer experience.
