- The celebrated hacker-drama, Mr Robot, is super accurate when depicting the online hacking world. It's chock full of hidden easter eggs too, and some of them are guaranteed to blow your mind.

My reason for a thumbs down
When done professionally, subtitles are changed and compressed in relation to what is actually said so slower readers can keep up. But this definitely seems a bit too extreme lol.

The *whole* series is completely filled with visual and audio cues, that hint at something or are a part of a code to be discovered. Every scene, in every episode. It's completely amazing!!! xD

With help from /r/mrrobot. All 509 were given to us Redditors basically. There was another one where 10 of us got Physical copies of "The Careful Massacre of the Bourgeoise" on DVD signed by the cast. I missed out on that one.

The Hang In There poster was also part of the latest episode, in the room Angela was held in.... I love this series.

The look up thing could also be a reference to what Mr robot tells Tyrell in season 2, that he is not seeing what is above him, only what is in front of him.
This show is so underrated it uspets me.
kinda became a cult TV show for computer people, which is sad considering the cinematography, storytelling and attention to detail is on par with some of the best shows out there

Isaac Kotlicky and the episode was called red wheelbarrow, its not an easter egg so much as its just a part of the show that youd understand if you, like paid attention. he also burns the notebook in a red wheelbarrow

The hot pyro burns stuff in a red wheelbarrow when Elliot is imagining prison as his routine in season 2 (when it shows what’s actually happening in the prison the pyro is just burning over a sewage grate)

I just found this out by trying to pause at 3:21 to see Sam Esmails face lol, hint to blow your mind (again): keep pausing at 3:21 and you'll see another face pop up (this face popping up also proves a theory). I will not spoil the characters name in the comments, I had to work for that shit with an infite amount of pause/plays.
It's easier if you play it at 0.25 speed

The "hang in there" easter egg could also be a reference to Venetian Snare's "Songs About My Cat" album which features pictures of cats hidden in the music using the same technique
Aphex Twin also uses this trick to "paint" on some of his tracks (on SAW II for instance with "Trees") or to put pictures of his own distorted face ("Windowlicker is a great example of this")

I used to think that no show will ever be able to give me that dread and excitement feeling that breaking bad did,until i saw mr robot. It is my favorite show of all time. Is it possible that elliot could be white rose? Im probably way off base, but thats the beauty of the show.
I don’t think Eliot is White Rose, but Tyrell is absolutely a fractured personality of Eliot’s.

My sister is a huge fan and is just a little obsessed with trying to figure out the clues on the Reddit page. She told me about the show a few months ago and I binge watched the first 3 seasons while sorting through boxes of old records and papers. Then just before the 4th season started, I ended up watching them all again and caught scenes I missed the first time around. So although I'm a huge fan and I love the show, I would rather do something to make the world better place (feed the homeless, vote progressive, participate in groups that affect social change) than play games on Reddit. I'm afraid I would get too addicted to finding all the Easter eggs and solving all the puzzles and everything else in my life would fall apart. But I love the fantasy of a computer hacker or a group of hackers bringing down the uber wealthy .01% who are destroying the planet and turning us all into debt peons and wage slaves.

If they did all that fancy stuff with phones and sites, why didn't they get a hold of real IP, host something there(or even just block any access to it) and use it instead of an invalid one? Or is there any logical reasoning behind this?
