It was a clay tour....
As one of the organisers your word is law. Who are we to argue
It wasn’t!!! I had no time to mentally prepare!🤣
People who don't shoot will never understand the unspoken bond of those who do. Always good to see Simon and Ant on the channel 😊
Shooting, smelling smoking barrels, having wonderful moments with wonderful people around,,, It is a BLESS.
Excellent bit of fun there ... thanks for bringing us along.
Johny it’s all about the banter champ pure and simple. All the very best 👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴
the hammer gun was just class , looked so much fun , who cares if you cannot him much with it .
As an American who lived in the UK and was able to obtain my firearms and shotgun certificate’s this brings back great memories. I would love to go back to Eriswell Lodge and shoot again.
Hey! There's Ant!! Good to see him again, it's been a while. Simon too! Oh my this should be a great video, just need Ed Solomons and we would have a foursome of great shooting and great banter. Well I'm going to watch the rest of this video, and get so excited that I will need to go shoot some clays myself. Always the best videos on the Tube!
Great video Jonny. Fantastic shooting mate. Does not matter how many you hit or miss, but the people you shoot with, and enjoying the day with friends, and like minded people. That is more fun than any kind of shooting. Of course the banter between friends are super special, keeps you trying to break more clays.
Looks like a fantastic day out. Get at em. Looking forward to the the next NGO video coming out. See you gents there next year.
That hammer gun is a work of art that also happens to shoot. Man, lucky him for having that.
I loved Simon's hammer gun. And I loved the video of course
Just enjoy the egging on you guys give each other. Like the part about the bend being to big an you were told to just take it off.
That looked like a brilliant day out.
Best day ever
Was Simon on the Sport Trap at the Chatsworth show this weekend? Looks very like a gentleman who was using a side by side who I had a bit of banter with after scoring one less than him. Me 18/25, him 19/25. He was also kind enough to give some coaching as I had never done Sport Trap before.
You shot it very well indeed
@@simonreinhold_co_uk cheers Simon. Went back late in the day for another go and had a complete nightmare. I reckon the first round was a fluke.
Still on the Gold Rush trail I see. Love that side-by-side hammer gun though.
Well, this looks like it was all of the fun.
What a Brilliant day, a great laugh for all and good that only a gamekeeper can win! Would you consider Helice for one on the your Clay Tour events.
So jealous Great video as usual
New gunsmith challenge: create a mechanism to shoot sxs in ou Config and do a pool shoot compo. Of course, compare to longthorne and your £50 scrap gun! 😎
I’m so excited to see the extra content from your US visit too!
I would like to try this. Very new to sporting clays in the US and I've quite enjoyed the videos in EU of the shoots. I need to look into seeing if an American can participate and what are the gentleman's requirements for clothing.
R.I.P. Queen Elizabeth.
Every time there's a SxS on the channel I end up at my local gun shop fingering shotguns out of my price range. One of these days . . .
Hi John, hope you are well. Any chance you can review a Beretta dt11 sporting 30inch without an adjustable comb for one of your videos? I have seen reviews on the dt10 and the black pro on your channel. Cheers.
What has happend to Proof-house ? 🤔
When is Hull coming to the States?
As soon as the supply chain issues globally become less unpredictable
From an American perspective. It seemed those loads are very low velocity. I shoot sporting clays with 1200 FPS-1350. Those loads looked slow in slow motion based on the leads.
They shoot wirhin 75ft/sec of the big loads - no real world difference in sight picture
@@tgsoutdoors I love your channel and think it’s great! Given that I’m a US sporting clays guy I do understand where my sport came from. I do hope to hunt at a Scottish castle at some point. Keep up the great work!
I've had the same thought. Maybe the video makes it look like they're using more lead or clays are usually faster or farther out but it does look marginally different.

I very much enjoy this channel and it’s content. It’s a great look into sporting clays from the UK side of the game. I love my Winchester super sport 1 1/8 1300 FPS. It seems they stop at 28 grams/ 1 ounce loads. Nevertheless I hope to hunt pheasant at a Scottish castle at some point.
Hey hopeing you'd be interested in doing a review on the Zoli Nobile!! I can't find very much info on it would love to hear your thoughts on it. 💥💥💥 Thanks much love from Canada 🤘
Is Ant trying to cling on to his youth with that V cut hairdo?
That takes me back a few years that 😅😅
Jonny what gun slip do you have?
Can’t believe they are shooting so close to the wind generators.
Was that a Benelli M1 with extended magazine tube at around 13:30?? I thought those were no-no's over there. (semi's and evil high-cap mags)
1. Center fire shotguns are exempt from the general semi auto center fire ban.
I am unsure of the reasons why, but I expect it has to do with shotguns being smooth bore and practical pest control tools.
2. The magazine cap only applies to those without a firearms certificate. As I understand it anyway.
This is my firearms shotgun 10shot benelli allowed only with a just reason (being a gamekeeper)
@@antmclearnon8796
Interesting.
@@antmclearnon8796 Watched the NGO video with you, John & Simon. Definitely not a clay tour. Looked like great craic. 👍 The competiveness & you being a wind up merchant is 😂. I love the TGS videos. Always entertaining on camera Ant.
👍👍
Made me laugh, good fun was had by all ,love your keeper pal he sounds like he could be a real pain in the ar** John .
What’s wrong with the longthorne ?, just about to buy one
Its wood was a few thousand miles away in the USA
Wrong gun, for the comp.
have you guys not discovered Pilla?
Looking cool takes presidency over practical glasses, when pilla give me a pair I may be convinced!🤣
21 gram load = 3/4 Oz. That's a 20ga load??
i thought it was gonna be about shooting golden pheasants....
Nothing worse than a gun that doesn’t fit. May as well throw the shells at them by hand at that point.
Come on English the other English guy at least shoots real birds pigeon crow etc. And he's a game keeper
