The hardest thing is mourning a mother who is still alive and was wonderfull and loving the moments she wasnt toxic and projecting her own pain and low selfworth onto you. I miss a motherly love, nururting, guidance and connection. I am so estranged and disconnected from my mother. Having a relationship with her and het other children is so toxic, draining and dysfunctional. I am so worried because one day she will not be here anymore.
Edit: i listened to this mantra for 4 days straight while crying and mourning for my mother who is alive but not in my life. She called me on the 4th day. She came to my house and we spend quality time together. She came to my yoga class, we made roti and we watched a movie together
Another Edit: It's 7 months later and I have the best relationship with my mom, ther is so much love between us now. She even directly adressed my inner child and apologized for all her wrongdoing in the past.
lost my mother -- my great love & my best friend -- 4 years ago. Sometimes i feel like she's still with me, my angel. And other times i feel desperately alone and the pain is unbearable. Being a daughter without her mother in the world really is a vastly different kind of experience. We feel lost, unrooted, like a piece of our soul is missing. No one could ever adore me the way she did. hopefully i'll find a partner who loves and adores me unconditionally one day, but of course it's not the same thing. it's worlds different.

Exactly! I am also going through the same feeling. It's being 8 months she is gone. I feel devastated loosing her so early in my life. There's no one who can ever substitute our mothers.
I feel you ! I feel so since the past 2 years. It has gotten better.but I still have bad days..And I miss her terribly. Every moment of everyday is incomplete without her. No happiness or success is really complete without her. The food I eat doesn't have the same taste...Nothing is the same. But..no1 can ever really take her place. I am married..And my partner is an amazing guy..But until I don't work on. My feelings and emotions..Even he cannot do anything..Supports me and holds me when I am broken. But my dear friend you will have to work on your hurt..It's difficult..It is for me also..But I assure you..With time..You will get the strength to miss her and also be able to breathe and live in the now. Though i lost my mom physically way back on 18th oct 2011, that's 20 years ago, she is still with me thru these mantras which she taught us when we were kids. Didn't realise at that time the power mom bestowed on us, but now I do n thank her from the bottom of my heart . All moms are manifestation of the divine shakti, maa durga 🙏🙏

Remarkably voice and mantra. Every comment below speaks to every feeling and thought felt when I lost my mom 3 years ago 14November 2017. Diwali 2020 was very difficult to pass without her physically on earth, however, she's with ma Devi keeping watch over all of us to guide us to over come any unfortunate events ahead. Stay safe and practice what your mom thought you to survive with the gods.

I miss my divine mother MAA Baglamukhi (one of 10 mahavidhya form of MAA bhagwati) who use to give me indication that she is near me. I want always that she should be near me and watching what I am doing and make me feel she is there . So I feel secured in her presence and be happy . Just want to be a innocent child of her.
