Murtasim is tired and defeated while he still yearns for love.He would move mountains to be with Meerab...he would take bullets on his chest for her.But unfortunately,she is confused and is still figuring out weather she wants to spend the rest of her life with him or not.
This is the reason for Murtassim's suffering. He wonders why is it that he is not good enough for Meerub? What is it that he lacks?
This Murtassim is different from the Murtassim of episode 1. Initially he was strong and victorious and his feelings were uninfluenced.But this Murtassim is in love where his love is being continuously rejected.He is emotionally weak as an individual because now he is every time very much invested in strengthening his relationship with Meerub.He has lost in love and you can't help but feel sad for him!!
They say the ones who love less have the upper hand in a relationship.I am inclined to disagree and whereas it might be easier for Meerub to leave(if she ever does) and get over it, she will probably never find someone who is willing to put the same amount of effort in this relationship as Murtassim. She will not know what she is missing until Murtassim is gone!!

Just wow! You put it down really well. Murtasim's suffering is real.
What still keeps me going with this drama is that 'Meerab's stubbornness is temporary but Murtasim's love is permanent.' But on the other extreme, I too believe that there's no other way left for Meerab to realize the importance of Murtasim's presence in her life, other than losing him for once. She's too blind otherwise to see what she has and that is constantly being ignored.
I also feel like in her own constant suffering throughout this whole journey, Meerab has lost track of others' suffering, especially Murtasim. The day she starting looking out for others, she'll forget how unlucky she feels about herself.
This drama is going off track for me now. It's just the end I'm sticking around for.
Finally its here!!! And psycho rohail gets what he deserves, waited so long for this scene😂💕

The play was well very received by both the critics and the viewers and the actors won many awards for their performance.

Yumna Zaidi's performance as Meerab is an exceptional example of how a good actor can save an extremely poorly written character. She doesn’t get enough appreciation.
The writer is pro-Murtasim (she herself told in an interview)
Meerab is not necessarily a poorly written character. She is definitely irritating at this stage. They have made her less likeable than Murtasim.
Even in real life, Some people are more likeable than others. Maybe the writer will show her transformation into a more likeable character in upcoming episodes
I agree Murtasim is being elevated and Meerub is made weak and absurd. Which girl will go to someone's flat 🤔 and girl like Meerub and she stays quiet ... I'm hoping the writer brings back our Meerub. I loved Yumnas expressions when she saw the gun

Like literally, every single one of these people have betrayed her and her trust, In reality, a person like her needs tons of therapy to work thru all this. The writing is not doing justice with Meerab's character, its YUMNA ZAIDI's acting that we are still feeling her inner temoil of abandonment and are still connecting with meerub.
