what degree/dan one has to be to learn the Gushin Jitsu Kata?
You dont need any degree, you need a teacher willing to teach it to you and be able to fall the throws.
It usually gets taught for your dan grade in the uk. Or should i say it's part of the grading process. But that being said the years i did judo we never did kata training ever. Sad really as it's a valuable tool
In the Kodokan, it's required for 6th dan.
This is rubbish, kata is not a competition, who can judge kata.
