Things you should know before shopping for my Links
I am 35 years old, I have fine lines, normal/slightly dry skin, and that will affect my preferences for base products such as concealer, foundations, primers, and skin care. I also have very dark circles under my eyes and prefer a full coverage concealer. I usually gravitate towards medium to full coverage foundation with a natural, radiant, or glowing finish. If you have the opposite preferences than me, just keep that in mind. You can still watch for inspiration, eyeshadow palette reviews, and by knowing my preferences, you can still decide if the products I love will be products you love as well. I hope this helps! I love OdensEye. I have so many palettes, not all but close to it. I live them all, however their older formulas were not as good as it is now. So glad that they continue to improve their formulas.

What a great ranking! My top 3 would be Hela, Christmas and number 1 Christmas Eve. I don't have as many as you but I have quite a few. I did skip on the most recent trio. My money went to other indie releases and like you I have to pick and choose even though I want them all. Unfortunately money doesn't grow on trees😂

I've watched a lot of other creators say that the spring dragon is their favorite out of the three.

I so agree that the Spring Dragon Palette really doesn't stand alone. I honestly wanted more from the Legendary Diversa II launch. I use the purples and greens in there a bit, but not as much as my others. Planet Spirit is also lower on my scale... It needs some neutrals and mattes to really pop. I don't think I've dug into that one, but the Sea Talk and Flora Story are BOTH at the TOP of my collection. I would have to say my favorite out of all of them is the Hey Reindeer, with Cat's Breath and Solemane II.
Giant Wolves is sooo pretty. I was hoping the new palettes would be more like that. I hope I get a new one because I only have one I collected off of Mercari. Little Ghost is great too.
I missed the Christmas palettes the first year and now I'm afraid to even dig into them...
Oh wait! My favorite of all time I totally forgot! The gemstone Palette!!!!
I really really want that one! I may pick it up the next time I order. So many people have recommended it. It sounds like we have a lot of favorites in common!
it's kind of funny because my top 2 would be your last pick and your first pick LOL
but i don't personally go that deep besides as a liner shade or if i'm doing a totally deep look (aka, most of the look is dark... i don't really mix the two very often) so that may be a big reason why the preferences are different for the last one
i just like keeping the light looks fairly light and the dark looks fairly dark with at the most, medium contrast
judy's palette may be that way because a lof of east asian beauty which she's into (as well as myself) has less contrast i find (not all...i feel like chinese looks in particular can have higher contrast but in general, the lighter shades are preferred)
obviously everyone is different though and have different preferences but i found it funny that i liked your top and bottom but that just goes to show how different people people can use the same palette which is always interesting
i like branching out and doing different things occasionally (following other people's tutorials that are totally different as to how i do my makeup) so that kind of thing always interests me
Yeah, I agree! I love watching a handful of people's videos on the same palette and seeing what they came up with. You're kind of seeing the palette through their eyes. I think the looks You're talking about are what's really "in" at the moment. I'm still stuck in 2015-2016 eyeshadow trend 🤣😂

I unfortunately do not like the Oden's eye formula and I decluttered the Hela, Solmane II, Saga of Freya, and Flora story.
I only kept my Giant Wolves and Sea Talk.
I must admit I bought the Jems and Jewels and Mighty Monster, and this is OE last chance with me.
But freaking beautiful colorstories and great customer service.

That really sucks though 😕 to have spent your money on something you didn't like. I didn't get to try the saga of Freya or the stone and rock palette & the other one that was released at the same time. Im curious what it is about their formula that you don't like? I like hearing other perspectives.
Now this scares me! I have the two mini Scoobys and Mikayla from Glamlite and a lot of J Stars palettes. I would like to try some more but fear of getting some formulas that aren’t up to par :/

Never tried Odens Eye but TEMPTED for the Mystery Boxes! I don’t want to get the “accessories” (jewelry, etc.). I just want to try a palette! Does everyone think it is worth a shot? If so, little box or bigger?
I couldn't remember what I got when I bought one last year, I had to go back and watch the video. I got 2 of the old 6 pan palettes, 2 single shadows, 2 lip products, a mirror, a blush brush, and a brush set. At the time, I thought it was great, but I ended up decluttering most of it in my last declutter. The thing that makes this year better is the opportunity to get the discontinued palettes. If you want to get the box just to try oden's eye, I recommend just picking up something you know you'll love. I hope this helps
Thanks for that! I just watched a little of your video. I LOVE the Coloupop liners too! I guess I could shoot for the $45 box. I am sure they would throw some palette in there, right? They have palettes for roughly $40 on their website anyhow. Have you tried Glamlite or Jeffree Star? How would you compare (if so?). It’s funny because the Glenn Wi-Fi picked up… I watch somebody’s video and they said that those have the best shimmers… So I guess I lucked out. Mikayla and the 2 Scoobys)
Hela was the first pallet i used that made me feel pretty in bolder pinks and greens and im super boring and terrified of color especially primaries 😂
I completely get it, though. I used to be the same way. I remember doing my eyeshadow, and it was so bold that I wouldn't even finish the look, I'd wipe it off and re do it. It took a while for me to learn how to just trust the process. Somewhere along the way, I just fell in love with it, with eyeshadow in general. I think it's the first time I really ever felt beautiful & proud of something I did. I still feel that way. To me, that is what it's all about. It doesn't matter if it's a colorful look or a neutral one. As long as it brings you joy, then it's perfect ❤️
