The fact that Alyssa vs Tatiana isnt here is a crime
probably because of the song licensing
Maybe because AS2 format lip syncs are considered LSFYLegacy and not LSFYLife, but Alyssa vs Tatiana is also an exception to the rule

Sorry Not Sorry was always THE Double Shantay lip sync for me. I can remember every beat of what Yvie and Brooke were doing, because there was not ONE SECOND where they weren’t eating it!
You know its a REAL double shantay when nobody can come to a consensus on who performed better than the other, we love to see icons maximise their joint slay

That's literally the only reason I feel like people gagged. It was maybe the worst wig reveal in herstory, but it was the first on on Drag Race on I guess that made it a big moment.

Roxxxy's cry was so emotional yet so camp, funny, rotted, legendary, sad, iconic...all at the same time...they don't make DragRace like they used to.
Then they got faker each season lol it’s unfortunate how she puts in on for the camera now because she knows how to produce the boots down.
I miss the good old days. This is why I like Drag Race France, Nicky feels very genuine and sincere

Yvie Oddly’s and Brooke Lyn Hytes lip sync to Sorry Not Sorry is the reason why I got into the damn show. That is the Double Shantay I will never ever forget. I love it when two entertainers who have nothing left to lose just go at it and go at it hard.

The thing is, lip syncs like Brook Lynn vs Yvie and Alyssa vs Roxxxy (or Tatianna), are *real* double shantays. The rest pale in comparison. No tea no shade
I’m dying at the thumbnail. They wanted Aquaria to win the season, but Eureka won the lip sync. Even the audience was chanting her name. So they kept them both
To be fair Aquaria deserved it more, the LSFtC needs to be retired because of things like this. The more deserving winner comes out looking bad because of fairly losing the lipsync.

Jackie and Heidi will always be my favorite double shantay. They both had their own lip sync styles, but with so much energy and fun! And they were working WITH each other at times - it felt like a collaboration more than a competition.
jackie did the saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame thing the whole lipsync, it was a double shantay because of what she did on the overall season, not a double shantay because of that lipsync

It always shocked me when a queen came back to the show and killed it in certain area. Bendela lipsync skills evolve from a baby queen to a pro in the 4 years between her seasons.

What I really appreciated with Eureka is so often when the bigger girls drop into a split they take the camera off them because the struggling to get up. That was never the case with Eureka she dropped and popped back up,well after she did the Eureka floor slide. LOL

Nah, Aquaria's movements were well paced. Eureka was a snooze fest who had some sort of good reveals.

The list could have been longer with more unforgettable double shantays especially the first ever - Yara and Carmen, and those that made history like the first Top 4 in a finale (although it was All Stars) - Jujubee and Raven; first Top 5 in a finale - Willow and Angeria; first lipsync for your life AND legacy - Tatianna and Alyssa; first double shantay with a lipsync assassin - Morgan and Cracker 🤷🤷🤷

I live for mistress but I think she was overrated on the show. After the season I’ve fallen in love but her performance didn’t stack up to the other girls. I also think Marcia could’ve made the finale if it was a double save since the Rusical and Makeover were both up her alley moreso than they were for Salina and Loosey. I could be delusional for the last bit tho.
@@azsazazsa She would’ve excelled in the Rusical could be why they might’ve chopped her before that episode. This Happens sometimes where the eliminated queen from last episode seemed would’ve excelled or won the upcoming challenge. It gets in the way of storyline reasons especially if they didn’t see her as a contender for the top 4.

Darienne is an amazing lipsyncer. The jump/splits lipsyncs leave us gagging, but I really love those Queens that lipsync using the essence of the songs, no splits/jumps/acrobatics.
I'm still think that Eureka beat Aquaria back then. Eureka was giving more presence.

Am I the only one who thinks Aquaria was really good? I love the way she moves it’s so cool and slinky. Eureka was just walking around (slightly giving face yes) but with gimmicky reveals and just the occasional kick. I really like them both but for me aquaria wholeheartedly deserved the win.

The crowd said Eureka won, but it’s clear Aquaria was the winner from the get go (especially since Asia fumbled so much). They rigged it and sent them both to the final lip sync (which Aquaria did win) but Eureka did better.
