  • We went out to discover Kuala Perlis and the surround villages (kampungs) that belong to the town. There is a lot going on at the moment - for example: They are painting a big part of Kuala Parlis, meaning on "the island". A great initiative by the Royal Family of Perlis who is collaborating with the government and various agencies. I do think, however, that Kuala Perlis is the most underrated town I have ever visited in Malaysia. I was literarily blown away by this little old town with its stilt houses and alleyways as well as with its friendly people. I do urge anyone to visit the little but great of Perlis and not to let out Kuala Perlis.

    tinggi tinggi tahniah dan penghargaan atas inisiatif yang diambil untuk Transform Perkampongan nelayan ini menjadi satu "Focul Point" Pelancongan baru di negeri Perlis. Kerja kerja mengindahkan persekiraran dilaksanakan atas semangat kerjasama antara penduduk,Jabatan dan Agensi kerajaan serta sumbangan material dari pelbagai pihak Initiatif ini bila siap sepenuhnya kelak akan melelui 6 Fasa tindakan. Apa sedang berjalan sekarang adalah dalam Fasa 1 . A fishing village is just like any other fishing villages around the world.. The aroma, smell, and the surrounding will complement one another to create a complete and unique ammosphe. This is just an initial phase 1 to beautify this place.. To complete the whole project it has to go through 5 phases. These phases including to inculcate the residents on the sense of belonging and how important to keep their environment hygienically clean.

    Greetings 👋. Nice work at discovering & reviewing some local villages around Kuala perlis, which is currently under some aesthetic makeover to look more vibrant, lively & colorful. The bridge was also nicely painted 😁! Hope that someday it would make a great place to visit although something must be done to the trashes & litters specially one that cames from the sea 🤨. Do hope that others from different states could also emulate these efforts or at least preserved some worthy heritages like something they did in malacca perhaps 😉. Btw, i've watched the vlog where u got some special delivery from the a perlis Royalty..njoyed that one too but couldn't finish all the way back to when you're in thailand haha 😄! The rubbish problem is mainly coming from the sea and the river which brought the rubbish to the village. I went to Pulau Tuba in Langkawi and found the same problem where the people there do not throw the rubbish but the sea brought the rubbish into the village especially when there is a high tide. The rubbish will stuck there when the tide gets lower. Government needs to think how to solve this problems. Similar to the East coast also, the nice beaches there are polluted by rubbish from other countries like Vietnam, Philippines etc.

    • @yvesthesleeve
      @yvesthesleeve  Před 3 lety

      Yes, the unfortunately the sea is full of rubbish because so many people everywhere are just throwing it away. There needs to be a new thinking, a new awareness around the globe.

Leading with style. - Siamese Fighting Fish is what we call them. Beautiful creatures but often sold in terrible conditions, plastic bags hung up, hardly any water etc. That guy had his well looked after in clean water. I was planning on it but we will leave the country soon. I think there will be more and more restrictions and after one year we have decided to move on. Will be back in 2022 though and cover the whole rest of the country, especially east coast and Borneo part.

      True, this problem is mainly from the sea and the river which brought the rubbish to the village. I went to Pulau Tuba in Langkawi and found the same problem where the people there do not throw the rubbish but the sea brought the rubbishes into the village especially when there is a high tide. The rubbish will stuck there when the tide gets low. Government needs to think how to solve this problems. Similar to the East coast also, the nice beaches are polluted by rubbishes from other countries like Vietnam, Philippines etc.
