  • The egbas are force to be recokoned with, as numerous important people come from this tribe, having
Abeokuta as capital. To mention but few of these guys, you have; FELA KUTI, ABIOLA (MKO), OBASANJO-(former president of Nigeria), etc

Really nothing like culture. This must be well preserved so that it does not fade away.It reminds me of where I hail from.Ogunmakin in Obafemi Owode area...,Incidentally, here in foreign land they have culturally preserved their heritage and yet we embraced it. This music is lovely! and I like it. Thank you Ajobiewe ,thank you Ayo Ewebiyi...

I am a quarter Ẹgba. My maternal grandmother is from ofada but my paternal grandfather is from Kenta because we have Kenta in our family eulogy but don’t know where maternal grandfather and my paternal grandmother was Tapa. I just got to know we are from Oke Ona (paternal grandpa’s side)

I enjoyed it so much, it reminded me of my grandmother whenever I did something right. She would praised me with oriki dialogue of our origin. She was from Itoku, from the famous Majekodunmi. Thanks for the memories.
