Unfortunately, our company had a very bad experience with Freshbooks. Quickbooks migrates your data from desktop to online in one day, FOR FREE. Freshbooks charges a minimum of $250 and even though we were initially told it would be 1-3 days, that didn't happen. After almost a week of waiting I was told that it can take up to two weeks!! In my opinion, that's an inexcusable amount of time to be down in your accounting software. We were told you can start entering data right away but if you rely on your customers and products to propagate when entering data then you are having to recreate the wheel. I will say that their customer support is good but that did not solve the problem of manually having to create invoices and sales receipts. BTW, try to find how to create a "Sales Receipt", as when someone buys online. You can't - you have to create an Invoice first and then go back and mark it as paid! The customer receives the Invoice email first (if the email option is turned on). FTTDK, an Invoice is to bill someone - A receipt is to show someone that they already PAID. ~ Then to add that, our "sales" rep seemed totally indifferent to our problems. Again, good customer support but we found the software cumbersome and un-ergonomic.
