Great work on the modifications you did so far. I might have to barrow a few I saw in the video. Too bad the elevator can’t go further down to the hanger. Maybe someone can 3D print new elevator sides. Really digging the TV monitors mounted in the bridge and radio room. Can’t wait to see it finished.
Excellent work,I love the custom pieces. Can you imagine how much more it would have cost with all that. I wanted the. Flag more than anything that Christmas but I got a bike instead ,meh.
There is a part 1 on my channel. I show the base and how it was raised. I made this up as I went along with a lot of trial and error so I would start with an idea and by the time it was complete, I couldn't take it apart and film it.
Great looking Upgrades! FYI normally you only two Mk15 Phalanx Close In Weapon System one on the Aft Portside and the other on the Forward Starboard side and it is the last hope for the Carrier if a Missile or Aircraft was to get thru the Escort Vessels and Defense Missile Batteries.
This is what this video and project is all about. Inspiring Joes like you with ideas on how to further modify your own FLAGG. I got many of the items such as the one you described, from Etsy. Look up the FLAGG and GIJOE and they'll come up. Thanks!
Keep seeing this, and thinking: too bad that, when mega construx C.O.D. was still around? Too bad someone with such skills didn't take the shell of a Flagg, and restructure it to their 1:32- 1:35 scale . more realistic scale, more room for more air craft. And why do people always add so many land vehicles on their carriers? Never get that. Great videos.
@@walterwright8454 The Number Is Correct You Can Google Image's Of US Carriers It If You Want But I Won't Argue With Some Guy That Doesn't Know Simple Details Like This.
@@ThePolishBader I have looked it up and I see the numbers as you are looking toward the bow. If you look up the Nimitz or the Ford you will see how the numbers are shown. There is no reason to be a douchebag.
That kid in the commercial's bedroom was bigger than the tiny 2 bedroom house I lived in with my parents in 1985. 😂

If only we could recapture those moments from our childhoods because we could sure use them now.
Need a build video of everything you did, this is insane!!!

DUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!!!!!!! this is AWESOME!!!!
Fantastic work, right down to some of the fine details.
One note? The term "restroom" is not used onboard ships. It's referred to as the "head".
Pump and dump as they said in Navy Bootcamp 1993

Yes shipmate. I had the two missile CIWS along with the 3 MK15's so I went off the LHD WASP class
More ordinance is never a problem. Overkill is underrated.

The Flagg is #99, why is it just about every time I see it, the number reads 66? The way you have it is correct, even in the cartoon it says 66.
On US Carriers The Top Of The Number Faces The Bow.
@@ThePolishBader Yes, but in this case the Flagg would be 66 when it is 99.
