I find i have lot of problems with wire breaking often and not feeding out properly. I wanted to change mine to blades! I have no concrete edge so should be good. Im supprised einhell dont offer option to swap to which you prefer.
Yes, that would be best, to be able to choose what works best for your particular case.

Yup, agreed. But probably they have a comercial advantage to separate blade and wire cutters.
Nice hack I know the original plastic blades are kind of expensive in our country, but I think they cut better than wire,I was able to cut tall grass from a entire grapevine on nyktek channel 😅
They do cut marginally better, but create much more vibration. So it's a tradeoff. But my goal was to be able to cut next to objects without destroying them and wire can do that, but blades not really. They literally ripped chips of concrete 🤭

Salut. Vreau să ii iau mamei mele acest trimmer pentru grădinuța ei, si pe margini în grădina mare. Ți se pare mai eficient cu firul sau cu lamele din dotare?
Are pavaj, beton etc și am impresia că ar distruge destul de multe lame
Salut. Eu as cumpara direct un model cu fir. A mea e mai putin eficienta cu firul, dar se consuma mult mai incet si nu distruge nimic in jurul lui.

Eu nu am acel surub in mijlocul bobinei originale ,nu o pot scoate😢 este vreo smecherie?
Este acelasi model cu a mea? Cu lame din acelea rosii?
