Mike has become quite the preacher! I think that's as much his calling and gift as music! He is a huge blessing to me and every one of his little talks I've found in CZcams speaks to me.
I love listening to Mike speak in interviews and concerts. He’s so profound and sincere, and I always get something out of it that my heart really needed. I needed to hear this today. I struggle with homosexuality and for the longest time I defined myself by that. I hated myself and was always depressed. Their we're even days I thought about just ending it all and the scary part is I was sort of happy with the idea at the time. Despite all of this though I believe that God put great people in my life to talk to. I feel so much better now because the sin I struggle with is loosing it's hold on me. Also I am finally realizing what grace really is and I cannot do anything to gain or loose any and yet it is infinite. Thank you God for reminding me that my identity is not in my struggles but in Christ.

That’s incredible. Here’s something my youth pastor has told us that may help you: the only difference between homosexuality and heterosexuality is that you lust after the same gender. Lust. Pray that God would free you from that. Even if you’re not physically attracted the opposite sex, it’s still possible to fall in love with them. You are loved and cherished beyond anything you could imagine. Jesus is faithful to deliver us from our sin. May God bless you.
I do love you and love the grace of God on your life. I know it’s 2 years later but I’m believing God that His Grace is still carrying you through. That lust is a spirit that shows up in many ways, food, opposite sex, money, things of the world etc. The deception of this world is labeling one sin against another when we all fall extremely short, one way or another. May God have mercy on us all. Amen.

What do you mean there's no room for mercy? Buddhism and other Eastern teachings are all about compassion. There is also some truth that you are not just a narrative, not just the director of a physical vehicle, but a multi=purpose spiritual being, a light being; do we all have to be warriors, only? Letting go of aggression and competition can lead and does lead to enormous personal peace. May each one teach one to create peace and we will have a more peaceful world. Mercy must be balanced with strength . Peace of Christ, my friend.
