Good schools over for now bc if I was getting bullied witch I kinda was I did sit in silence bc I hated my teacher and she prob didn’t care anyway bc this girl called me a bully and I was what did I ever do to you or anybody... nothing that’s what I thought then she made fun of me so I called her a bully bc she was last year she let me join the group it had all the popular kids in our class since it was elementary school or primary school and she replaced me after using me I don’t wanna see her again. So when I called her a bully she tattled on me and I tried to tell her about her last year.... THAT WAS IN THE PAST. It’s still affecting me so whyyyyyyy.

I have dyscalculia and dyslexia and it sucks. Every school I've been in just says: " Your grades are too high for us to do anything. You have to be in the bottom 10% to qualify for help." Which first off, no. That's, not a state law.
Its terrible. None of the schools care, and they all just want to make money and keep a good reputation. None of the teachers want to help the students that are struggling. And there are so many things wrong with the American education system, but none of the kids notice. I hate it, and as a 'kid', no one listens to me because apparently im too young to have valid opinions and statements. Sorry about the rant. :)
I have discalcula too. Luckily my dad is a high school math teacher. If it weren't for him I'd be having F's

I actually started doing youtube when I was 16 as well, and I actually got treated pretty nicely. I only told a few people, who were my closest friends, and they were actually really supportive. When other people found out about it, they were actually really polite and just complimented and encouraged me.
I am sorry you got treated poorly though. People can be completely horrible and it sucks. No one deserves negativity for doing something like youtube. Your work is actually quite impressive and I hope you continue to enjoy doing what you do.
I STRONGLY relate to what you went through. My original username was emmaiscool56 (yikes) which I made when I was 8/9 YEARS OLD. I made a terrible "karoke video" and I would always get told "hey Emma I saw your video of you singing" and I'd think oh thanks! then it got terrible when I got in middle school, literally the 2nd day of school I got on the bus and some 8th grader in the back of the bus who I didn't know said "hey Emma! Hehehe." And I was like huh? And my friend said just ignore them, I was like ok. Then the next week I turned around and saw the "popular kids" and older kids who sit in the back of the bus watching my karoke video I made when I was 11 (I'm 13). I was so embarrassed and they all kept telling each other my username and I went to my channel asap and unlisted all my "childish" videos. But did the teasing stop? Haha nope! Everyday I'd get on the bus and hear "hey emmaiscool56!!" "You're my favorite youtuber emmaiscool56!" "When's your merch coming out?"
I told the principal MANY times and the main kid who was doing it got sent there about 8 times, but he didn't care no he just said "I don't care", and continued to do it and when I threatened to do it again he'd say are you gonna tell on me what are you gonna do? And here's the fun part! He lived in my neighborhood! Yay. But after several principal visits my parents decided to find out where he lived and talked to HIS parents about it. I made the mistake of posting a video where I called the bullies the c word and cussed a lot, my parents hated that I did that. This happened throughout all of 7th grade. But this year nothing has happened because 1. There's a new bus route and 2. The 8th grades who bullied me are now in 9th grade so I don't have to see them until next year.

watching this felt oddly reassuring that I'm not alone with unique interests to everyone else, I always stuck out like a sore thumb whenever it was time for me to meet new people throughout highschool. I've been experiencing it since I was in year 4 and I'm in year 13 now and I've sort of found people who don't make me feel like an outcast but still do feel that I'm pretty weird. I've been watching your videos since 2014 (I was 8 years old, I'm 17 now!) and honestly I'd like to thank you for helping me grow throughout the years, I've always been so insecure about liking my little pony and other kids tv shows but you did raise my self esteem a lot and I'm so sorry about you're highschool experience :(

Idk, I just hate it when people watch my videos in front of me and or if someone I know and doesn’t know me well enough, watches my videos, it makes me feel as if I can’t make specific content.

I can relate ,I did have few friends ,but when they knew that I am a CZcamsr 1/2 the 8th grade became my friends "I was in the 9th grade then"
All of my Male Primary School Teachers Only Cared About the Smart Students And it was vice versa For the Female Teachers. There was only one teacher That Would always help everyone and she was really nice to everyone. Now I'm in highschool And the only teachers that cared About me are my Art and Drama teachers. Also, there are about 5 teachers that go to the front of the school and smoke during lunch and all the smoke goes into the yard and it's disgusting

I am a small youtuber in my school and sometimes I hear people watching my videos and I hide
We had the same! This is my story. I remember when I was Grade 5, I told my Best Friend a secret and is that I have a CZcams Channel. What else I told her the username. Days passes and few of my classmates started to gossip about me or it seems that they found out I had a Channel. When we were having our classes, one if my classmate said "Hey, what us your YoyTube Channel's name" and I kept quiet until my Best Friend said my Channels name and everyone heard it! Until then, they started watching my Videos and subscribing to me. The worst part is that they made me change. They said "geez she still likes mlp" "I dont want to subscribe because I dont want yo be a shining rainbow" "her videos are cringy" "I dont watch the mlp one". And then I made my channel a Vlog and Gaming and I will never post any MLP videos. I also deleted my MLP Videos and other MV (that day I didn't know you can save private the video). When I realize you can make it private, I was so stupid I will never EVER see my videos again! But the good news is... My classmates became a CZcamsr but a some of them had 2, 8, 16, 23 subs. They also made cringy videos just like me! And that is how I love my Classmates (not jk) and I dont want to leave my school even though it was HELL at that moment but now I'm completely having a Nice Moment in School. (Note: My Crush became a CZcamsr to because of me but has 8 subs I guess) ~~~~~
Adore your animations and these storytime type videos. Personally I relate to most of it and I agree with you. My school is pretty much the same honestly. The normal drugs and alcohol ish is pretty common.

Oh my.. I’m glad you got out of all this. This must of been really hard. I’ve always thought about having a youtube channel were I could post my drawings because apparently they are amazing.. but I’m so scared of what could happen if I do that. Society needs to change..

I live in Canada understand I have a comprehension problem in learning as well but now I'm in art college and getting the rights commendations for myself. I'm not showing off but I understand your feeling I was sometimes teased in elementary school and first year of high school.

I understand your struggle Soda. This year was my last year of middle school and I’m very happy about that because the middle school I went to was terrible. Like how you mentioned your school had uniforms, mine did too. It was a preppy school and my parents had to pay a lot of money for me to go there. The people at that school seemed really nice at first but they were all just gossiping backstabbers. I had only on true friend at that school and most people didn’t like her. I heard people talking about her all the time and at one point I gossiped with them. I completely regret doing that. Another thing was the teachers. They put so much pressure and work on us! And because of my ADHD it’s harder for me to learn as well as other students. The teachers obviously didn’t care about my learning disability and treated like crap, just like everyone else. I was supposed to have accommodations but that never happened. My grades started dropping and I had mental breakdowns about once or twice a week. I also have anxiety which just caused more trouble. I’m so glad I’m finally out of that school, hopefully highschool will be much better
I can relate, my brothers found out and one of them just mocks me sometimes, and anothers one of them always tells others even though I prefer for it to be a secret for me and my friends, how did my brothers know? They wondered if I had a CZcams account, and yes my little brother asked how much money I made on youtube and I answered "I am not monetized" and told him the requirements of monetization. Good Day.
Now I was a CZcamsr back in school, and my experience was completely different! No one asked about my earnings, £0, and I’ve never seen anyone try to bully me about it. Most people even loved my channel, although my channel was even smaller than it is now.
Of course, I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out no one bullied me because they knew I would just beat them up if they did, as that did happen a few times although not because of my channel.
I feel way less alone, school is also not my thing and I left in 6th grade, I am currently homeschooled and I am going to an art class next month, I know this video is 4 years old but I completely get what you're saying
In lots of the story times I watched the person telling the story said they we're a shy kid but I found my self being that kid where I needed to make a lot of friends, because that was just me.

i relate to this and i’m not even a “popular youtuber”. i’ve only told my close friends about my channel and yet they play my videos out loud at school when i ask them not to. i get bullied a lot and i’m scared one day my bully’s will find my channel

I went to counseling once and they told me I needed to focus more on my REALITY instead of my art. I no longer go to counseling.
I just tell people when they ask me about my CZcams channel I just unlist all proof about it being me
Then the next day I will go "about the CZcams channel you talked about, what was it called?" Then I just get them to search it up on their phone and prove them wrong

yah. i heavily agree with you soda. Highschool is kinda bad right now for me as well. I wish I could just disappear, but I can't. Counceling is never good in schools. I have clinical depression and it hasn't been going well. I do have good friends and they make videos with me, but there are also those kids who are there to make things harder. It just doesnt work well with me. It is funny to hear someone my age who is a "cool person" because they do youtube stuff complaining because people will actually listen to you. nobody will ever listen to me. keep it going.

Yeah I know what you mean, I have ADD and I’ve been told by therapists and psychiatrists that I’ve had it my whole life, it just got really bad when I started puberty, so in return I nearly failed the 8th grade because even though I told multiple people “I can’t focus or remember things” and my counselor told me to “get more sleep” so yeah I’m just currently in the process of trying to find medication that works for me but it really sucks when people who are supposed to help you don’t

I started off my highschool horribly. Got a bad reputation as the kid who tried to kill himself for attention. Now a couple years later, im a "cool kid" so many people are horrible. but im happy that there is someone who is doing better.

I learned from books or movies they play at school cause the actors like Bill Nye have way better hype and personality then the teachers or like go outside to learn instead of being inside a cramped up school I missed recess from my school years because I would just walk and move away from the mean kids :(
