you can experience a glimps of past there.I was once a regular at this coffee house before moving to london. i must say one of the great place to be in kolkata(calcutta).

Bro, the *Origin* of this coffee House is *_pre Independence_* during British Indian era
This building was called Albert Hall & was made in 1876. British Indian Coffee board started a coffee canteen in 1942, BEFORE Independence. Google - College Street Coffee House
