To be fair, the NECA Godzilla 2003 actually didn’t look too different from the actual design! The only thing that needed to be changed was probably just the top of the head and eyes and there you go! An accurate Godzilla 2003 figure!
pawat I’ll be honest with you, I’ve actually never seen Godzilla Tokyo SOS! I’ve only seen short clips so I’m not too affiliated with the design overall! But I have watched most of the millennium series which is good!
It really feels like Neca didn't care about the 03 head and 89 head since they already knew ahead of time that they were going to lose their rights to make Godzilla figures so rather than fixing issues on the prototypes, they just shipped it as is.

This custom looks awesome! Personally I think NECA did a pretty good job already with the sculpting, but the cheeks being puffy and the top of the head looking as narrow in comparison did kind of make him look like a ninja turtle from the front
Excellent work as usual my guy. Though I have a couple of these 2003 Goji's myself & dig them both as is, I would still love to see someone improve upon thier biggest eyesores- namely the tarp covered shoulders. That being said, youd probably have to cut away everything below the head & above the elbows entirely, to pull it off correctly. lol At that point, might as well sculpt a whole new figure entirely?

The ending music is shitty doodoo ass cringe, I can't stand the ending music. However, the whole time i just couldn't stop staring at how you did a great job on the color, tremendous.
