Nice bike , good sound.
Nice bike, i have a '76 Bonnie, owned since '89, bought for $250 with only 3200 miles, fully restored in '05, and kept shiny since, now has 8100 miles! 1st kick starter and faster than its supposed to be, a real crowd pleaser! I think '76 is the best year for the OIF Triumphs.
I completely agree. I have a 76 Bonnie too, as well as a 69 & 72. The 76 is such a pleasure to ride, smooth gear change, phenomenal handling and great power for a nearly 50 year old bike.
We’ve had this bike 78 year model on the family for 42 years now. My grandfather rode it as his retirement toy, my aunt owns it currently and enjoys the Sunday ride on it. One day I hope to enjoy it. The sound in the video doesn’t do it justice, they sound great in the flesh!
Yep with regard s to the tacho drive it / the previous owner may have googooed the thread because it's left hand thread but regardless it's a beautiful example hello from new Zealand
Hi guys. Great bike. Triumph Meridian Cooperative’s last year of production was 1983. After that Les Williams built them one at a time with the remaining factory parts under the monicker Les Harris Bonneville. I believe until 1989 when John Bloor began building the factory for his incarnation of Triumph.
I have the same bike and right now we're having the same weather...
Another fine piece from the best in the northeast
It sounds so good under power
Dad has a BSA 650 Roadrocket
Beautiful bike - nice to see one in Cherokee Red!
Hi guys I'm Dan ( Rocky ) from Australia. I'm addicted to your channel since finding it recently. I love all the old bikes you guys have from my youth,I'm 60 now oh shit. I'm a big Triumph fan and love the Bonnevilles. I currently own a 2014 Triumph Tiger sport 1050. I drool over your vids of your auction bikes. Just curious if you guys send bikes to Aus but not sure if they're legal here without a Australian compliance plate. Cheers guys from Aus and look forward to many hours of entertainment watching your vids.
We export bikes all over the world so yes call Junior at the shop if you want one
Nice......Makes me miss my two Bonnevilles from the past, 1969 T120 and 1979 T140D Special with mag wheels!!!!
I remember this era well, a lot of guys were buying xs-650's for half the price of these. But the brit bike's just had a soul& character the Yammies didn't 🇬🇧
my wifes 2019 speedmaster has the same emblems on the tank with the hand painted pin stripe. green and white it is definitely a beautiful looking and sounding bike. didnt know how close it was to the earlier ones until i saw this video.
Making me wanna sell my R1 and go back in time and buy one of these
You would enjoy the journey more (in my opinion)
@@thomasc6412 yeah I can hit the gas once in a while! Hahah
Watching Kaplan while flipping around watching mecum motor cycle auction..the early CBs are going for crazy prices man ..piece and love from nj
Looks like firecracker red.
In 1976 Britain these were a dream for the bikers that could afford a new bike of that size. A lot of bikers hung on to their smaller bikes, with not much money about and unemployment at it's highest ever. The Sex pistols and punk came out, and Barry Sheene won his first world title.
Beautiful Bonnie!! 👍🏻🤩
The blower is LOUD on the audio.
What do you think of honda VT 250F-II
Why don't you review this great bike?
Please try it and talk about it.
🇬🇧👊🏻✊🏻
Mustie sent me.
Does he restore one of these?!
The parts that fell off this bike were assembled by the finest English engineers……
