Thanks for the Shout out Iggy! FAM!
Leron Thomas Thank you for you’re work. It’s truly an amazing album.
Fantastic Job you did, sir!
You are an inspiration. The band kicks SERIOUS ASS!!!!
Iggy is STILL so youthful.
Jarmusch interviewing Iggy Pop is great for me, totally unexpected and entertaining. I appreciate them both in each own field.
you rarely see a rocker being a rocker while also dropping niche movies and being super fucking literate. man's a gem.
I could listen to their stories for hours! Those were amazing! You guys rock!
"Dear God, keep this one alive a little longer than the rest, for a change - Thanks "
Amen to that
This reminds me of how Jim is such a brilliant and humble Everyman who just happens to be a citizen of the World. He’s so well versed and open to everything going on practically everywhere. You have to hope we get back to the world Pre-COVID where we were able to travel freely and without trepidation. Jim Jarmusch is also equally curious and aware and his devotion to cinema from an underground perspective makes this talk tres interesting. Great, great insights here into both artists.
Á pleasurable interview,thanks all.
That was so good, and such a pleasure to enjoy! Thak you guys!
I seldom watch TV but this is the best 1 1/2 hours i have spent in a long time
I LOVE Iggy, Hes such a genuine sweet talented man, I just adore him ..
Great interview
thanks for the inspiration
Thank You
Iggy looks so cool
We will look back at this culture of the late 20th century and miss it beyond imagination, soon. If ya don't already. Thanks Jims❤️
damn wonderful talk
Jim and Jim!
Bowie had a shot at English lyrics for "My Way" lyrics. Some thing about being a clown that doesn't get the girl, was Bowie's lyric. He was bummed when he heard song on radio, but it was Paul Anka lyric. So he write "Life on Mars" which sounds like "Some Where Over the Rainbow" also.
I am 100% sure Jim's theory on The Stones getting "Dead Flowers" from Graham Parsons is correct.
love radio.
I stay away from high pressure people. Yes. That sounds good.
Kudos to Iggy Pop
Legend!
best intro
Mickey and Sylvia are another great duo from the past.
💙
💘
Townes Van Zant wrote "Dead Flowers", guys.
48:33 Little studio run by a Venezuelan in Miami, anti-Maduro. This is rock and roll
Oh my God the batwings!
Dude, the guy is 69
'all I wanna do tonight...'
Robert Frank- the lines of my hand 🤚
Jim's wearing a shirt and shoes!
Its an american trick, take something shitty and make it glorious..lol..i love Iggy!
Its a damn shame the man hasn't made a decent record in the last 20 years. I was sorry to hear about his passing!
What?
Who are you talking about? Iggy is still alive and well and has made a few great albums in the last 20 years.
@@slumdogjay don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.
@@robertalexander9365 ???????
@@slumdogjay It means: I know, my comment previously was part in jest. Let's face it, nothing he has put out in the last few decades would gain such attention as when he was in his prime. Not knocking the guy, he's still a stud...and still has bills to pay, but I personally don't think it's been anything to write home about since say "candy". If I'm wrong, please point me in the direction of something good and I'll give it a listen. (I'll make an exception for punkrocker...which he sang on..thats a good one)
can't believe Jim is as old as my dad
Iggy is 2 years older than my dad!
He's a month younger than my mom.
@@maxsmart9116 two months younger than mine :)

Great talk,,,, now we BOWIE bores can navel gaze onwards now
He faked those cuttings. No scars.
Iggy Pop is a genius and The Stooges possibly the best band. The irony is ,The Stooges , The Sex Pistols , Siouxsie and the Banshees , Joy Division , New Order etc etc would never have existed (swastikas , lyrics , artwork), they would ALL of been cancelled by the modern woke liberals , those admired and supported by Iggy and legions of duped musicians in the West.

He wanted to get out of the way says Mr Pop
Is iggy losing his hearing??
I wondered that as well- I was there for that talk, which was amazing, but it did appear he may be a bit. Which is not unusual for a musician.
Yes. He mentioned in another interview I’ve seen that his hearing ain’t what it was.
Why the F is the audio so low??? Goddammit fix the fucking thing
why is the sound so bad
Savant waitress. 🤔
Iggy looks like he's melting
But he still looks good for a 70 year old man who was a heroin addict for years.
@@sammavacaist His hair looks cooler than ever here
Jim Jarmusch is arrogant and won't shut up.
No he isn't, they've been friends for decades
It's more like 92nd Street Y and who cares?
Socks are always a good idea.
Overrated interviews overrated.
Didn't realize that Queen had a song about a pathetic film director, who uses thunderbolts and lightning for very, very frightening from a wheelchair.
(Someone will get it, DEEK... Someone will...)
Could either do the fandango, though?
