That Tennessee shortstop is why little league teams always say “play is at first/second/third” before an at-bat.
Best coaching advice I got from my dad was to always know where you're going with the ball before it's hit. In this case, you know the second baseman is way off the base, so you should go to third on a hard hit grounder. first if you have to charge it, and check runners on a lineout. Do the thinking ahead of time, so you don't have to do it with the ball on the way.

MLB has the occasional road game in London…but they always bring East Coast teams. They get *way* too much of the spotlight. Do yourself a favor if you want to be a real hipster and pick a team west of the Appalachians. Or befriend the GB national team and get real good seats at the next WBC. I’m sure it’s easy. I did that with Team Israel.

My coaches taught me when I was young, when a ball is close to the strike zone at least try and put it in play or try and foul it off so you can get another pitch. It’s probably a lot harder when the ball is going 100mph but my coaches hated if you got out looking at a strike.

@@kdubs928 So to be clear….Ole Miss was the last team in the tourney. Tennessee was number one in the country. They never even made it to Omaha. Ole Miss rolled over Miami and Arizona State and Southern Miss then Auburn then Arkansas twice then Oklahoma twice. My Rebs won the National Title and the Vols never even showed up. We had a season full of injuries that all got healthy by tourney time. Best team in Tennessee history. Notre Dame bounced them at home.

Can we have less Yankees breakdowns and more on the rest of the MLB?
