In what turned out to be the Game of the Year in the Greater Miami Conference, the 12th-ranked Indians were ready to defend their home turf for Homecoming against number 2 Lakota West. Mitch Bolden accounted for 5 touchdowns as the Firebirds survived in double overtime, taking sole possession of the top spot in the GMC standings.
