Hmmm I didn't enjoy watching Amanda in this episode. Maybe she's not the right talent for food related series. Luckily there was Chiara and Hafeez who made this episode more like a food review video as opposed to meme-wannabes with constant extreme expressions. I enjoy watching TSL so hope this comment is seen as a constructive feedback, no hate here.

If they bought the household brands it’s easily differentiate by the talents hence they need to pair them with the more premium brands. I feel comments here need to understand why they do that rather than start to bash them and leave negative comments. Why so serious? They didn’t give negative reviews to push other products they are advertising anyways. It’s a non sponsored video anyways.
Yea precisely. Would I care if they can tell King's shitty Neapolitan ice cream from artisanal ice cream?! There's no need to find out. The whole purpose of the comparison is premium (but mass produced) food vs food made by non (or less) industrialized ways. I didnt feel like there's a need to define store-bought because it's so straightforward. But I guess they could also have spoon-fed those with an apparent lack of exposure. 💀💀💀
I think the distinction of ‘store-bought’ needs to be clearer. The featured ‘store-bought’ ice creams are of the more expensive ones, rather than the more familiar household names. Without this distinction, people who can only afford household brands will look at for example Chiara’s reaction and really feel bad about themselves and the stuff they are eating
There will always people who can afford bigger and better things than us. We learn to live with it and get over it. There's no point feeling sad for yourself if you can't afford something. Work hard and earn it. That's just life.
To be fair, many ppl open IG and instantly feel bad about themselves even if they live comfortably. There are always things that make us envious. I think it's also a bit concerning if people don't understand the definition of store-bought? If it's children you're worried about, they surely aren't the ones making purchases of family-sized tubs. They may ask their parents who would then have the responsibility to explain why they are eating more affordable ice cream. If you are worried about adults' feelings, I think they deserve more credit in our very capitalistic society. 🤭
@@sunlightdavid This is why social media is more like a marketing tool rather than social app. Personally feel most of us were doing better before social media became a thing. Glad I left it all behind me to focus on more meaningful things in life.

Talenti is actually alr really good! Except that if u eat it right after Dopa Dopa I can totally see why u can’t taste anything HAHA. Talenti is not even cheap tbh :p it’s $11:50 a pint and Dopa Dopa’s probably twice that

Don't need to put brands down and say they are thrash. Not everyone can afford expensive ice cream and some kids' eyes light up with just simple ice confectionery.
