For a teen girl in america in 2010 this typically looked like skinny jeans, a nice pair of sneakers, and a victoria secret PINK hoodie in neon pink or yellow. Im not sure if theres a real definition for preppy tbh

I used to think that preppy was like prep students here in the UK (extremely posh, wearing lots of tartan and wool) The same as nerdy
