It's no clause for concern, but the Labour leadership candidate still supports public ownership, will he bring back Clause IV though? Paraic O'Brien tries to find out.
I like the way the right wing media portray public ownership of essential services and national resources as being a 'backward step' when private ownership preceded it. I don't remember Tory re-privatisation of public property being described as 'backward' even when a majority voted against it.
It's so amazing how people can't get how Corbyn can believe certain things, but support party policy in public. Imagine that, a guy who listens to his party instead of being a dictator to his party
Bravo Channel 4. You finally wrenched Corbyn out from behind his many masks and cleared up that undeniably vague & ambiguous position of his on nationalisation. As I can think of simply no other time, since Corbyn's meteoric rise to demonization, that he's ever mentioned nationalising the railways, post office etc etc... undoubtedly you'll be submitting this for some future journalistic award of excellence, correct?
Essential services such as energy, water and telecommunications should be nationalised. I don't care who supplies my gas, electricity, water or internet; I have no brand preference or loyalty to any of these companies. We don't need choice of these services, they all come from the same source in any case; electricity is just electricity whoever is supplying it. Privatisation of these services has conned us all. Internet is free in Spain; why not here?
Alan Williams Indeed, I wanted to hear what Jeremy had to say not Paraic speaking the same amount of time as the interviewee. Channel 4 News need to move on aswell, people want real change in politics now not the old style cardboard cut-out politicians who easily slip due to Spin.

Is Channel 4 now The Daily Mail?
Seb Sadderp I agree, the channel so seems to be so right-leaning. I suppose it is a private business at the end of the day.

So, Channel 4 are now against the party whom fights for people now also?

I like this man.. and I may even vote for him
To be honest, it's a fucking brilliant idea. Public ownership is what's needed.
current odds at Paddy Power:
Corbyn 2-5
Burnham 7-5
Cooper 3-1
Our SNP shall win again. Cheers Labour!
Snide!
Paraic O'Brien comes across very obnoxious here, ugh

Paul Addae it angers me so much, the state of journalism at the moment is atrocious.
