running calls out of a Halloween pumpkin is the most legendary thing ive ever heard
Just made my decision to become an HVAC tech. Doing the Lincoln Tech Program. Cannot wait to learn and work and have a great career
It's a great career
How is it going?
Going well. Hard finding anyone that wants to take on apprentices or give a guy a chance in the field. At least where I’m at
@@ryanguere8872 do you have your certifications ? Or still in school.
@@josephsantos7047 no not yet. Only started in may
These videos are always so high quality. Its very impressive seeing you put so much craft, thought, and effort into them while also being a busy tradesman with a family.
That means a lot pepe, I put a lot into trying to learn this video “craft” in addition to my hvac Trade.
I bought the TP3B about two months ago and absolutely love it. You are so right when you say that you want to just fit one more tool in it. Love the video I may just upgrade to the 4B. You are also right about almost not wanting to get my main bag out of the truck.
This has got to be the best tour bag setup on you tube. I been in the field 17years and learned long ago you dont need 30lbs of tools to do service lol...great job bro
Thank you so much. I used the bucket with bucket lid. Had a small belt hook time which carried my nut drivers and wow forgot what else. But I was just residential repair.
I'm definitely getting one of those! I'm new in the trade and I follow your advice I appreciate your channel
I had to stop the video to thank you for upping your video skills and really putting effort in making us laugh in a very professional way. Thank you sir now back to the video. Keep it up!!!!
Love it AK. The TP4 sure holds a lot. Have the TP3 right now along with the MC and MCT. Think i'm going to hold till next year when MB3
I Like your videos, really like the fact you do chillers. Give us residential/light commercial guys a perspective of that side of the business!
Trying to get my CZcams going, think we have a good perspective here in the southern heat!
Another great bag, I have the Veto back pack tool bag- Excellent in every way, looking to get the smaller Veto MC bag as I just saw one in use by a plumber. The plumber said its perfect:) I could not believe how organized the plumbers bag was!
Great vid my man! I LOVE Veto Bags. I was NEVER an open top tool bag guy until my Father handed me down his Veto Pro tech OT-XL and it's just a no brainer, these bags are made by tradesmen, for tradesmen, for life! - I recently picked up the TP4 pouch...only compliant is there is NO tape measure buckle to hold it, but it fits on one of the outside openings! Now Veto needs to start making shoulder straps for their pouches! LOL
you could always splice two AR mags to the back of the pouch , for your probes , great idea , BTW ! I’m not in HVAC , but I find your insights very usefull !
Absalutly amazing video fella . Well done in all fields
Still got my pumpkin, looking to upgrade. Thanks for the video!
I feel the same way as the other viewers. I have the TP3B but now I want this one. I just need a little bit more room for my work stuff as well. Great video.
Thank you Arod!
I know a pre-apprentice that is hoping to upgrade from his BPGTB-2 (Brown Paper Grocery Tool Bag - 2 "Double Bag'd") and thanks to this great review I know exactly what to get for him. Perfect timing as well... the Halloween store just opened up for the fall and should be fully stocked with trick or treat pumpkins. Be the change you want to see in the world.
I still go back to these videos you were ahead of time Andrew always had bad ass videos
100% right on about the two pockets on back for the wireless probes...That would make the bag almost perfect.
I like what you’re saying when it comes to the bag used for diagnosing. I’m overloading my MCT and need to start using the TP4B. All my other Testo probes can stay with the MCT plus it’s a pain bringing the MCT up to the roof.
Thanks for another nice video.
Thank you Mike!
Man, you're a Killa, AK! Very Kool vid, love the inclusion of the funny pieces! Lol! I'm getting one of these for my appliance repair runs. Thanks, man. Biggup!!
Great upload AK, I carry a similar tool pouch on my person when I'm in the job. I recon you could add a pocket tape measure to that, for mesureing the feet of a motor, filters and what not.
Also I think you have you wig on upside down mate 😛
Superb review in super HD. Well done sir a quality video
Several great things in this video one is the pill box for connectors, the slim profile makes it easy to put into any pouch, great use. Second those color coded alan wrenches would definitely make life easier. I could ramble on but I wont, good video.
As far as the impact driver problem, i use the metal clip on the back of the bag to put my Milwaukee m12 gen two on it. Works well on the outside of my m2b bag and more room for my hand tools inside
AK, I have a TP3B now and seeing the 4b makes me want one of those, awesome review!! Your videos are getting better and better.
I watched your live podcast the other day when you talked about the new facility that you were taking care of now. You mentioned the hot gas line going right back into the suction line of the compressor. I would of sent in a comment on that but I was watching it the next day, not live. Anyways, do you think what was on that system wasn’t a hot gas bypass but actually a desuperheater.... I used to work for Jci for over a decade as a chiller mechanic and ran into desuperheaters from time to time.
Just a thought.....
I thought I was the only one still using the plastic pumpkin tool pouch! Great video as always. I had that Klein multi-nut driver at one point, second drawback for me was the lack of a magnet. I tend to do a lot of boom lift work and it was troublesome not having one.
Thank you.
Great video.
Really appreciate!
Thank you for watching Octavio!
"Running calls out of a halloween pumpkin" I loled.
Andrew. Another home run video. I think that if I get another bag this last year. It would be this one. I have the TP4. But I would like that plastic bottom. However I think that I would also wait to see if they somehow listen to you regarding those other 2 slots for your refrigerant probes. That would truly be the bomb. I love that big Klein nut driver. Makes me feel like Tim the Toolman Taylor. Just finishing changing the oil in my vacuum pump. Andrew. Thanks again for a great tool review. Have a great night and week. God bless.
Thank you as always Blaze! Have a wonderful Sunday evening.
Great video, I'm thinking of getting one of these open tops. I've got several MB-2's as my purpose built bags, but there are some disadvantages to getting tools in and out... I love your back pocket idea, for HVAC at least, those pocket sizes are great for the Bluetooth psychrometers. 👍
I think you’d like it Mike, thanks for watching!
Fieldpiece pocket psychrometer! Love mine!
Great vid and review and great tool pouch !! 👍
Thank you brotha! Come to hvac shop talk tonight! 9pm
Awesome video bro!
I switch a lot from my mb2 to my mct when I use a smaller bag I always have a need for more tools good review .
I have those two as well so far
Looks great bud!
HVACR VIDEOS 🤜🤛
Love the vids bro! Thank you!
No thank you🤜🤛
Great review my friend! Might I suggest you add a plastic FUSE PULLER inside the top leather fold of the pouch....
Great job champ!
Great video AK! Only thing I changed on my Loadout was putting the meter in its case and strapping it to the back on the little handle. That freed up more room for screwdrivers and other gizmos. And now I carry my Bosch drill where my meter used to go. I like the idea of putting the no contact voltage tester in that little belt loop. I think it would hold in there pretty good and protect it because mine has a LCD display for the built-in thermometer . 👍👍
Thanks for watching man, those are great ideas as well!
@@AKHVAC Tonights the first time watching the podcast about freezon replacements. 😆 It was informative!
We have a lot of fun doing it, glad you came by!
Love that Klein controls screw driver.....instead of carrying a set.....
i have one but havent figured out how to pack it until now. thanks
Has your tool bag ever saved a trip to the van? I need a blue wire nut, I think I'm out, unload the tool bag turn it upside down... Blue wire nut falls out!
Great vid man! Keep em coming
Just bought one while watching the video I’m sold
I was gonna go with that Klein nut driver but I decided to go with a malco universal bit driver handle way cheaper and saves tons of space
Tfn funny! You retire 2yrs ago? I am happy/feel lucky to binge all your content no matter what.
Great review on the bag.
Thank you Ray!
Your channel is amazing
Very informative thanks
Solution to getting rained-on if you're caught in a quick downpour:
Tuck a plastic grocery bag into the space that's there for a tool belt.
That's what I did on my TP3; pull the bag out, put it over your tools.
...or over your connected gauges, then just grab your bag, and wait it out in the van.
Solid advice bro, thanks!
I have it and love it. I did go down to a Milwaukee 12v impact and it has a hook on it and I just put it through the ring on the side
That's how I carry mine, works great.
Great idea
Great video like always!! 💯 Where did you find that tripod?
Can you please do a video on flashlights and working lights review
Great video man 😎👍
Thanks Longmire!
Dude we share some of the same ideas!!! From truck to the bag lol. I do resi so minus some those tools mine is very close. I’m interested in the new meter your talking about for wb,dB, etc. thanks brother for the great video!! The Mickey cameo was dope!!
Thanks so much Jeremy🤜🤛
That is my every day service pouch ,I love it but I put a small dewalt 12 volt drill in the big pocket and hang my meter pouch off a caribener
Love your videos AK.
I am a ole 🐕 learning new tricks.
I love my Veto MB2 bag.
Less is more in my book too !
A lot easier on the back as well !
Danny Ferguson did you change your avatar? Thanks for watching!!
I did AK, thanks for noticing. Thought I would try a new look. Like to change the avatar ever now and then.
This picture is of the towel on the cruise ship we where on . This is what they made of it on the cruise ship.
From what I here the maids get paid extra for doing this special task.
I also left a tip in the room for them too.
Hey man! Just a suggestion. That “parts tray” will slide right in the that hollow hoop under the handle.
Great video, could you tell me what size of socket wrench we are gonna need mostly?
Did you keep the klein 7 in 1? I tried it, but it was like you said to big to get in a lot of places. Great review, enjoyed it. Thanks.
Awesome review
Thanks so much steel!
Nice vid Drew ... Veto tool bags are addicting ... We're gonna have start a support group ... Lol ...
Eddy 😁😆
Thanks for sharing. Do you have a video about using magnetic solenoid.
Thinking about doing the same and getting away from my Pro Pac tech for troubleshooting. Then dragging the beast out for the big boy jobs.
Can you tell me how high the belt clip is from the base? I am contemplating adding one of these to my TECHOT-MC on its tape measure clip to create a modular carry system.
Have you done any vids on that veto tech pac in the background?
Nice bag but they need to come out with a MB4 I think would be a big seller
Hey brother HVAC guy good video on the tool bag
Nice review.
Thank you Adam!
Nice load out..Question when you did your review of your truck you showed roof hatch safety hooks if the hatch was put on backwards where did you get them
It was company provided, can’t recall the brand. I’m sure they’re at grainger though.
What kind of adjustable wrenches do you use?
Doing a HVAC program, this helps
Maybe I missed it in the comments, Who makes the torque wrench Schrader tool? It’s so difficult not to over tighten in the mind, lol. Thanks again..
Where did you get that wire label thing
Where do you keep something to test pressures ?
Can you share who makes those adj wrenches and what size they are? thanks!
Nice Bag Brother
Thanks Mike!
Yes tools rust from exposure but you’re supposed to occasionally clean your tools
Hey brother. I just seen a atlas 45 load out bag and vest rigs. There life time and American made. You think you may look in to a test rig try out from them. To see what you think on it.
Good review. Been looking at these bags. My problem is no matter what bag I use it always fills up with tools to the point it's heavy to carry around. Also I like a bag that I can throw a part or two in ( small part) so I don't have to make second trip to truck, or take trash away. I never leave anything at job site I don't bring to the job site. Like Trash. Hate techs who leave trash behind. You know who you are. Stop it.
AGREED!!
What tripod is that fam? Dope video 100
For the people that own this pouch, would a fully loaded pouch work well with the belt clip? I don't like threading my belts I like the fast on/off clip. I am thinking more of the TP3 but i like the larger storage offered on the TP4 for my meter and larger diagnostic tools. Please advise.
Put a wet shoe lace on your temp probe and you can get wet bulb easily
With your little tid-bit at the end, why not connect two vetos’ back-2-back! Twice the room and you could connect the handle straps together as one. Just a possibility!
Why do you need two clamps if you only use one at a time? No valve wrench?
Great review. It's too bad you stopped making videos.
Friday looks like a hard pill to sallow
I got rid of my multi nut driver anchor after the first week. Too cumbersome and never needed.
how heavy is it full of all your tools?
You don't use a s screwdriver bit ratchet?
Esas mochilas son geniales super versateles...mándame una que ya no uses más jajaja....saludos desde Argentina
I have used the Mb for a little while and loved it. But It felt like digging through my wife’s purse getting tools.
I seen your review on the tp3b review and got me a tp4b. It’s nearly the perfect bag. I have a couple small complaints (like the dinky D rings) but overall it’s the best bag available for our uses for sure.
Has Mickey been allowed back into the "Clubhouse"
Great bag, isn’t veto coming out with a mb2 replacement with a plastic bottom ?
Not exactly...it will be similar though, I’ve seen some prototypes.
Thank you for the video AK. Are you aware of Veto making an MB2 version with the hard bottom. I work on residential and light commerial and I love my MB2 but sometimes it falls over. Not often but when it does its annoying.
I’ve seen prototypes of what will be a “similar” bag to the mb2, slightly different. Looked pretty cool though!
Need it
What about a 5B?
No impact?
great review on the VETO. I haven't tried any of the high-end bags yet. I usually pick up a husky square bag for $20 when they go on sale and just replace it every 6 months. Since I'm a residential service tech, I like my bag to look new and clean as much as possible. I'm curious to see what one VETO's bags look like after 1 year on the job. maybe you could do a follow-up review?
Does it have a spot for your little m12 impact? And let’s not forget a spot for your uv dye and super seal for all those leaking unitary coils😂
