Probably because they can always add more characters but I think we will have to wait for quite some time before a new DLC comes out.
I hope they reworke Josuke8 - add him more moves and abilities from manga, and also add more characters from parts 7, 8 and 9

He can take out anyone who happens to think of following him. That is a dangerous Stand. Dangerous like The World or King Crimson. Coolest thing about Stands is not only are they different speeds or physical strengths, the biggest factor is the person behind the Stand. Their intelligence and behaviour is what makes the Stand. It is not like an idiot picking up a gun and firing at people standing around.

Since Josuke can't use Go Beyond, the only characters that can canonically defeat him in this game are Johnny and Gyro. Maybe Valentine with Love Train.
Though, I wonder if Kira could use Bites the Dust on him without it counting as pursuing him.

@@joe3489what are you even talking about? The whole point of WoU is that you shouldn't pursue him, he doesn't even attack nor defends itself at all, it's all the calamity flow of the world. That would be like if he gets hit by the wind that activates GER and traps the whole world into the death loop
Josuke 4 could possibly win if they were willing to sacrifice Okuyasu lol as long as Josuke isn't the target of the calamity, he can keep healing his allies. Then get him in the right spot, say goodbye to Okuyasu, and have him use Za Hando. Hopefully, he's erased.
Wonder of U just makes me scared of how busted JoJoland's villian stand is going to be.

If I remember right Josuke's main lead at the time was the head doctor who's name I forgot, who was Wonder of U's human disguise. When first going after him the effects of Calamity went off which only persuaded Josuke to keep pursuing him

This is probably the fourth time in any of the Jojo fighting games where you fight the stand itself and not the user, the othera being Tower of Gray, Death 13, and Judgment in HFTF. Granted they were CPU only opponents, but a similar concept to Wonder of U here.

I'm pretty sure the only way to beat WoU outside of how they actually beat it in the manga is by pure accident. Like accidentally causing fatal stuff, much like WoU itself.

I think one of the drawbacks for Flow of Calamity is that WoU could only focus on single target if there are multiple pursuers. While it is a very impressive defensive ability, he himself is vulnerable to outside factors like normal accidents or bad luck and possess no abilities that allows him to boost his attack or gaining advantage.
There are several times when there's more than one pursuer at a time, it would've been over sooner if all it took was a second or third challenger.

Wonder of U's ability is that any and all attempts of "Pursuing" it or it's user result in manipulation of an energy called "Calamity" to bring harm upon you. This can be as simple as trying to follow the stand to see where it's going or anything done with the direct intent of attacking it. Calamity causes all sorts of things to happen to you. From raindrops bombarding you like bullets, a bolt shooting off a machine and firing at you, a car suddenly losing control to hit you, to going straight up Donnie Darko and having a random part of an airplane break off, fall through the sky from tens of thousands of feet up and slam into you.
You know the Phone from Ed, Edd & Eddy? Where everytime you answer it random misfortune befalls you in a usually painful way? That but answering the phone is pursuing Toru or Wonder of U.
It's widely considered one of the most terrifying stands in the series. Because so long as whatever you do around it is interpreted as "pursuing" it, you're it's target and it takes quite a feat to not only avoid the calamity, but to counter it even.

Gappy created an attack that doesnt exists. If doesnt exists, calamity cant affect it. Seens bad written but actually make sense.
Josuke learned the basics of Spin, and combined with his stand ability became a hard counter. Soft & Wet makes bubbles that "plunder," taking whatever Josuke wants them to with a touch. Spin creates enough energy to keep itself spinning. Combine the two, and you turn those bubbles into spinning balls of oblivion. They destroy the space that they occupy while never exerting energy. No mass, no energy. WoU can't stop them, becuase they are nothingness. Calamity cannot follow.

in short: If you try to approach it or its user or even entertain its thought, you'll be fated to have bad luck until you give up/die, bad luck can be anything from a pipe breaking and falling on your head to a plane getting onto a crash course onto you

@@nameynamd9212 Yes and no, if BIG stops tracking WoU then the calamity would stop (unless Tooru specifically targets BIG), which would mean BIG would just once again start following WoU because it would be the fastest moving thing relative to his distance, it would be an endless cycle of calamity stopping and starting, until Tooru just targets BIG to get away.
