(Free) How to use Full Body Tracking on Quest (No Trackers)

- This guide covers two methods: 1) Phone + Standalone & 2) PCVR.
*Important notes: -Difficulty level: 6/10. NOT VERY SIMPLE
-Obviously this tracking method is not as accurate and the latency is not as good as REAL trackers, so I would not use this for anything accurate. Case uses are just for fun, or if you like to add a kick here and there.
-The Phone method only works on Quest, but the PCVR method works on any headset that supports SteamVR

FAQ:
"Can you turn around?"
- Yes you can turn around 360 and it tracks, but it depends on the game. Some games don't track it very well like VRChat, where else Blade & Sorcery does it pretty okay.
"How is the latency?"
- It's okay, there's going to be a bit of lag, but that's given. It's not going to be as good as real trackers. But for what it is, a free thing, it gets the job done
"My feet are floating"
- You need to tweak the adjustment settings, it is different for each game
"Blade & Sorcery isn't working right"
- You might need to reset your B&S caches like this: steamcommunity.com/app/629730...
Delete the folder located at Documents/mygames/BladeAndSorcery if it is present - Don't skip this. You also gotta do it manually; reinstall wont remove it. You might also have a folder called "Blade & Sorcery" (difference is the "&"); you can delete that too - it's just a harmless junk file from Steam.
Check C:\Users\ [username] \AppData\LocalLow\WarpFrog\Blade Sorcery and if you have anything there, delete it.

- No it does not work in the Nomad version, only PCVR

- Yes, if you want it FREE it only works with VR Chat. You can use the PAID apps like Drivers4VR that let you do more than VR Chat.

- I recommend asking in the Mediapipe website github, there's a issues tab: github.com/ju1ce/Mediapipe-VR-Fullbody-Tracking
5) "Blade & Sorcery isn't working right"
- Read video description
6) "Can I use it with *game XXXX*?"
- Google search "Does *game XXXX* have full body tracking?"
Also, if it's a standalone version, most likely 9/10 times it won't have FBT
7) "It's laggy"
- Get a better network connection or Increase the resolution/fps of the camera. Also, once again, this is a FREE option so it's not going to be perfect. If you want something perfect buy the $500 trackers 💀

I'm excited to try and set this up with dance dash later today for my HP Reverb g2! Upsettingly it can't play dance dash normally, because I think it's cameras can't see your feet 💀 hoping they'll do an official update at some point, I know dance dash use phones as trackers already... But this might be a good interim solution!

Hello pal this saved me a lot of work, umm I want basically to have the full body tracking in blade and sorcery. I haven’t tested the second method but I will write it here if it works or no. (Btw I have a webcam so I need the resolution stuff too?)

Can you use hand tracking in nomad?
@@FATALITY49 My brother in Christ there’s almost no modding for nomad, I don’t think that the full body tracking is available on that.
But maybe hand tracking you could, if you have the Meta Quest just try hitting your controllers with each other if it doesn’t work, well that’s the answer.

Thanks for the tutorial, i just have one problem. every time i launch media pipe and try to conect it to steam, this error pops up:

oh sorry for being late but this happened to be to i downloaded apriltag trackers then i started it after that i went into steam vr and there should be a addon in the vr settings in steam vr that says apriltag trackers make sure its on then you should be good

hey soo for the last day or so i have been trying everything i can find to use this in blade and sorcery. the problem i am having is where steam vr shows that their is trackers 5-to like 30 of them but when i go into blade and sorcery it doesnt see them can i get some help

It does not work for dragon fist vr on my quest 3. I have try PCVR option and every time i choose "Full Body Trackers" in game, it says "no trackers detected". ip camera and mediapipe are working fine but i cant use it in dragon fist vr. i can not figure out why :/

My little sister (I’m using her acc rn) downloaded viso on her phone and on vr like said. I set it up for her and it worked for me, but not for her. For example: if I moved my left leg the vrchat avatar’s left leg would move (obviously) but when my sister tried it it moved the avatar’s right leg when she moved her left. Can I have some advice to help her?
Make sure you set the correct height in Viso for the person that is using at the time

the "Calibrate FBT" in vrchat was just a sit/stand option

Blade and sorcery is a bit buggy for me too, I had to reinstall and clear the user cache for it to work

For pcvr made sure u has latest version of project and has white lights or good lighted room then it can works, make sure urs webcam is not dirty or bad quality if is it try find better in same price or upgrade webcam. (possible on Android and u can set network webcam detect except phones) webcam

mean
It means that 'mediapipepose' script failed to execute due to unhandled exception...
It is basicly a undetailed error message, if it persists, something isn´t up to the task and it is hard to pinpoint the issue that way.
I got no further knowledge to it, cause I just landed here, but the error message is self-explaining and missing any further detail anyway.

Not sure beatsaber has full body tracking, but you might be able to use it combined with other mods like LIV? I'm just guessing
