Here in Houston, I spotted a minty ‘72 F100 (300 I6/3-on-the-tree) running project with a full interior for three grand. Dude said in the ad that he had to drop thr price two grand because he wanted it gone. Price gougers are starting to get the message. Drop the price or get bent.
yea when the hoods rusted shut you know shes been off the road for a little while lol, that 300-6 loves that varnish lol they have such low compression itll run on damn near deck stain lol.
I overpaid for a ragged out brown truck similar to that Chevy back in 92. It was only 13 years old but didn’t have a straight panel. Drove it for 2 years in grad school with less than $300 in parts. Loyal AF.
I like the older T500 BorgWarner 5 speed manuals. I had a 93 foxbody that came with a t500 from the factory. I put a supercharged 351ci in that car took it to the track ran 10's and never touched the transmission. I went through plenty of clutches and flywheels but that t500 lasted until I sold the car. I know guys that blew 3rd gear out on there stock 5.0's with the T5 Termec.
Evidently all the stick shift trucks were sold in Canada. They’re hard to find here in the States. Like everything, if you do find one, you have to pay big money for it. Nice!
