My #1 dislike: I don't own one.

jay bee his dislikes weren't even that bad. Even if it was track capable, I wouldn't take it on a track anyway.
Still a beautiful car
Some people may say the the interior is a bit outdated but for me it is perfectly fine still elegant and beautifully design

The dislikes don't deter me. Mind you I am mid forties, but It wasn't designed to be sports car. It's a sharp car that has performance attributes. Us older guys like knowing we have the power when we need it, but experienced enough to know "when to need it".

I know they are not direct competitors, but since you always rave about Mazda handling and steering, how does the 6 compare in this regard to the S7? I know in relation to acceleration, it is no contest. Thanks in advance.
CORRECTION : the base A7 has the dual clutch gear not 8 speed automatic. it makes no sense to fit that, the 8 speed ZF is needed ONLY in the RS due to the torque. A7/S7 = S Tronic dual clutch.

A7 is by far the sexiest looking car in Audi's lineup! After that is probably the Mercedes benz CLS that thing is direct competition to a7 and RS7

Not feeling the silver + red/black interior combo. IMO silver hides imperfections and scratches easy but doesn't highlight the awesome lines this body style has. I'll take one in either magnetic gray or red.

That engine bay is packed tight! Are Audi's still made with a service mode extension? Also what are those silver cans on both sides of the motor? A/C condensers or apart of the turbo system?

Dual clucth 7 speed on a V8 Turbo! Funny that the new S4 has ditched this DSG in favor of 8 speeders due to the massive torque from its V6 FTSI. Or you must be wrong!
The next S7/S7 gen better be good. The only worthy competitor to the Panamera imo.

Depends on how you treat it
As a luxury car - this is excellent!
As a sports car - meh. Fast, but that's it.
Not necessarily saying Soyfan does this, but a lot of times reviewers don't differentiate between a sports sedan/coupe and a luxury sedan/coupe. Both look similar and can have the same engine and 0-60 time, but the differences between the two often make them completely different cars. The things he dislikes may not be dislikes to some. It's all about what you want.
BY FAR, Audi's best design amongst a sea of boring look alikes.
To be fair, while i agree they're boring, most of them age extremely well.

I look at this type of car and wonder how it would be as a pre-owned - but then I can't justify the price even pre-owned when certified pre-owned Genesis are out there that do so much for so little.. too much money for a brand name in this case.

Why do people care for a sunroof so much? It's just another place for the sun to blare in and heat up the car. My current car has a sunroof and I have opened twice, I would rather have more headroom.

David Billingslea Probably awful. Audis do not tend to age well. You can buy 10 year old Audis for dirt cheap because they are usually riddled with expensive problems and people get sick of dealing with them and pouring money into them. There's a reason why you don't see many older Audis on the road.
apparently, most audis are garbage around 100,000 KM due to some chain tensioner that falls apart, I was going to buy an Audi recently but after looking into it they are pretty much just high-end Volkswagens and everyone bitched about the steering and after driving an S4, it felt very numb. I had a C63 until about a month ago for 6 years and the Audi felt like i was driving an old 1960's boat Cadillac and it felt pretty slow, yeah i know not much is going to compare to a 6.2L AMG but still the power delivery was pretty bad, I drove a 2014 5 series recently and that actually was pretty nice,

I'd love this car except that when I see it it's just a luxury car that's decently fast and not a sports car. Plus it just looks heavy..
