I am also in the same position as ankita, in the molestation scenario, it was the landlord's son. I want to tell, but fear a lot of the repercussions(perhaps they are just imaginary), I have come on the brink of telling her mother so many times, but never did it. My mother says that her mother will start to talk I'll of me before the society instead of handling her son.

Cuz a boy can't hit someone physically weaker than them. But if a gal hits a man he can always stop it. Hitting is not acceptable in anycase be it male or female. And females generally never do it, there are exceptions though.
