  • First inaugural 2019 ZR1 Corvette class was a blast. Never been on a road course a day in my life. This video is my first time behind the wheel where I am not following behind an instructor but one is riding with me. Instructor says after entering car that the main objective is to not crash and kill us! These guys have the best sense of humor and are very patient with someone as inexperienced as me. I recommend this class to anyone who owns a 2019 ZR1.

I went to Spring Mountain about a year ago. We did not have instructors ride with us. We did ride with an instructor around the track at track speeds several time. At the end of the 2 day class Spring Mountain has a computer survey they send out. I responded on the survey that they should consider having the instructors ride in the passenger seat with the students. I said the feedback with the instructors in the car would be invaluable!! I am glad to hear those attending the later classes are getting the benefit of the Spring Mountain instructors in the Corvettes for some one on one instructions!! Enjoy!!

Man! this brings me back. Pierre really kicked some corvette rear end in this video. This is no where near as easy as it looks. Dude can drive.

Pierre was a really good driver - I spent a lot of time following this guy in this class trying to catch him on the track!

It’s never good when the instructor allows another rookie to pass. Especially when he has repeated himself. 🥺

Solid driving, could use a bit of work on when to and when not to lift and smoother steering but overall not bad.

This is a stupid question, but why dont they paint the line you should take if the course was clear. Just to help people know where they should be. If paint will make cars crash I understand. But just seems to me it be better for the students. I know in a real race with multiple cars that you wont be taking the perfect line all the time. ✌️
PS: they should also have a driverless car thats programed to drive the course solo on the perfect line and speeds and let students ride in drivers seat to see and feel how it is. I seen a video that these guys did that at a racetrack and they should hire those guys to make or build the same setup they had.
