Samsung recently updated their Gear 360 Camera with the new 2017 model, and it promises to fix a lot of the shortcomings we found in the 2016 edition of the Gear360 (reviewed here: • Samsung Gear 360 (2016... ).
So how does the 2017 Gear 360 really stack up?
Samsung sent us a unit to test out, and after putting it through its paces the results were impressive!
But, is it really the best 360 camera for video currently available? And should you buy one? I cover my thoughts in this Samsung Gear 360 Camera review!

Absolutely did a great job on the Review. My only issue is... So had most others, when dealing with the completely basic info. Moreover, and as typical manufacturers like to write User manuals based on word count, most of us here want to get 'Insider dope'. Does your channel show how it can connect to you tube or Facebook live? Can this bad boy stream? If so, what would it look like? Lastly, I want to add that I know it's a few years old. But, VR and 360 cameras are only recently building Good videos, right?

Thanks mate. We don't have any tutorials recorded like that yet.. but both mac and windows have built in options for recording video from webcams which are high quality.

Hey Jasmine, I'm currently looking for the same - I don't think it exists yet 😜 I am a fan of the Xiaomi Mijia 3.5k waterproof (to 1m) 360 camera though.. Image quality is good! No 60fps though

Can we shoot @ 3840x1920 using gear 360??
Can we record a 6-8 hr event using 360(2017)..? What size memory card do we require? Do we need an extra battery backup? And how long does it take to transfer to the pc or mobile device?

As far as I know there's no record time limit besides battery and card. You can run the camera plugged into a battery backup but it's likely you'll see the cable in your shot (no big deal). I think it would take quite a while to copy off the footage afterwards.

It's wireless to your phone and direct to the internet, no computer required for live.
Will this 360 camera work on the ZTE Blade Zmax?
It should do.. but you might want to do a google search to confirm.

Yes it can. These days I think the insta360 cameras are much better but if you got this one cheap would still be good

Justin Brown - Primal Video I opted for the free wireless charger and micro SD card. I was debating on whether to get the camera, because I heard how awful the last camera was. I wish I had done more research and saw your video sooner. I may just have to go out and buy it now!!!
A wireless charger and micro SD card would definitely make that a tougher decision. 😀
