The thing that I enjoy in these omakase besides the sushi are those plates and dinnerwares accompanying each dishes. Such eye candies they are.
This is the first video of yours which I have watched. Your description of each dishes' taste profile, to the way you organize and segment the video, makes for one of the best food review content I've come across on this platform. Naming every dish, being objective yet subtly contributing your opinion, and dividing the starters from the "mains" and drinks-please continue doing this and reviewing omakase! Also, make the trip to America's sushi capital, New York City.
Thank you so much! Your comment means a lot to me! NYC is definitely on my list to visit!
living vicariously through you
Try Hayato, n/naka, Mélisse, & Providence; the other 4 (2-star) in SoCal. I love them all 😀
Oooh. Thanks for sharing! They have been on my list for awhile and now I want to try them out even more!
I just found out your channel, great job! Is there any way i could get in touch with you for more info? i'm visiting tokyo this october and i want to visit some of the reccomended restaurants but cause of high price, i will be doing it solo. I was wondering which places are friendly for one person reservations.
All the places I visited in Tokyo allowed single diners, and despite some staff members having limited English proficiency, they were incredibly friendly and accommodating
This playlist consists of most spots I visit in Tokyo: czcams.com/video/zB4VBrb0SDQ/video.html
Hope this helps!
wow
I was in Japan last month. I tried to make reservations at this restaurant for our group of 6. But it's was so hard to get. Even we tried before we flighted. Because we was in Tokyo only 2 days. But will do it if I visit Tokyo again.
There’s a Sushi Onodera in Honolulu for long time already. So the one in LA supposedly not the sole one in the US.
Jenny everything looked luxurious as if sushi isn't sophisticated enough. The question is, did you think it was worth $400.
I would love to try cherry trout, Japanese pen shell, sea perch and baby white shrimp sushi. It all looked mouth watering and your descriptions made me feel so hungry. Can't wait for the next video.
The total cost was $400, which already included the tip. To break it down, I treated $330 as the base amount and the remaining $70 as the tip (approximately 21% of $330).
However, even though I found $330 to be quite expensive, I must admit that the experience was fantastic and definitely worth trying. Nevertheless, it's not a place I would likely visit frequently due to the high cost.
Been there. We actually spent $800/person, sake, LOL Is it worth it? It depends. If u can afford it, then yes.
Big mouth americans on the background...again, but your videos are wonderfull !
if you listen carefully other people were also loud not just americans.
racist
sushi chef's hand being touched by a million people when handing bite sized sushi - filthy....like this is like cross contamination. cant he put the f-ing sushi on the plate?
The background conversations are way too loud and distracting.
Too expensive, I have sushi Zo in downtown and i like it better.
Sushi Zo sucks, LOL. Been there. I think they lost their Michelin star a few years ago.
Worst 2 stars omakase I’ve had, and I personally think they are not better than Kogane
Imagine paying a lot of money with the intention to enjoy a great food experience and then there are Americans around talking
racist
