What a beautfull version with joik!! Need this on spotify. And to everyone complaining about Boine's joiking: Joik does not translate well on tape. The tones are hard to pick up on, spesually on a iphone from a live consert. but done right (like she does) it is incredably powerfull live.
Roots are more important than just about anything else. Without your roots, you have no way of remembering that your blood does not belong to you - and that you are tens of thousands of years old - you are part of your people, whomever you are - this is the secret of true long-term diversity in the world and what makes it so lovely... your own people

Hands down the most spiritual experience I have ever had (and I am an old guy with a lot of rings around the tree). I wish I could describe what happened that night but I know you get it. I'm glad we, as total strangers, got to share such incredibly special point in time. And to Adam, when you read this -- and I know you will - Ja elsker dig, bodr.
