XPulse 230 And XPulse 220: Installing Big Bore Kits, Racing ECU, High-Lift Cam

  • Sick and tired of waiting for the bigger Hero XPulse? Just build one yourself. I'll show you how in this video.
I have a group of riding buddies who have fancied riding XPulses now, trickling down from bigger bikes. One problem though - the XPulse doesn't make a whole load of power.
And so, one of my friends contacted Bengaluru-based NMW Racing, and sourced 70mm and 71mm high compression pistons, an ECU with four pre-loaded maps, a six-spring clutch, a high lift camshaft and a racing ignition coil.
You can take a look at NMW Racing's website here: nmwracing.com/
Hopefully, these bikes will be ready to hit the road in about a week, and once the running in is complete, I will bring you riding impressions of both the builds compared to a stock XPulse.
The modifications are being carried out at Speedmonks Performance Centre at Mayapuri in New Delhi, under the capable hands of Atul Singh.
For any motorcycle parts, tyres or service requirements, you can reach out to Atul Singh at: +91 98115 17624
For those in Gurgaon, you can visit the main branch of Speedmonks by contacting Gilles Singh at +91 95991 00494
If you like my work and want to know about the modifications that I make to my motorcycles, you can check out my Instagram page: / abhinavbhatt19
Thank you so much for giving me your time. I hope you have a great day.
    Cheers

Hey guys! Greetings from Turkey :) I have a pulsar ns200. Now a days I fell in love with xpulse 4v. I am very close to buy one but one thing is stopping me: the topspeed issue. I am not an offroad fan. I usually use my bike in my daily life, just for commuting. But time to time I also use it for long jurneys. Thats where topspeed matters the most. I am around 95-100 kgs and a stock xpulse 4v can reach to may be 120 at max. What I want it to cruise by 130-135 without overheating or over-screaming :) So finally comes the question: can such a modification (piston, cylinder, ecu, camshaft and clutch plate) make an xpulse 4v do that?
