the red wheels are high crush wheels. they are supposed to be larger than the high accuracy wheels. Although, worker has already updated their design. the new blue cages and wheels are what you want to get.

You know that with doublestacked mags there would only be one dart/bullet (if you're talking about real guns) at the top because the mag looks like this;

Fire Duck that is true for pistol magazines. But for rifles like an AR-15, it is double stack the whole way up and the top cartridge is not centered in the magazine. This works for real steel but would not work for nerf mags. For nerf made they would have to take your design.
What Bob Jones said is correct. I would just like to also state the main reason the tapered magazine you illustrated is designed that way, is because it makes it easier to design the firearm. The bullet will always appear in the same place.
If you used a true doublestack magazine you would have to redesign the nerf gun to be able to pick up the darts in different places from the magazine. That would be painstakingly difficult and expensive.
