- Just a quickie I'm uploading. Also tomorrow is my 8th anniversary on CZcams so yay go me! I'll be in Duncannon this weekend so this is the best I can do to celebrate for now :/
I was originally planning to catch the 2 oil trains (64T and 66E which had a BNSF) and possibly 39G at Valley Forge. Something told me one could tie down at Pottstown so I hurried along to Pottstown station just in case that'd happen. Turned out both were heading to Falls yard in Philly after all but I got H49 going home back to Reading as a bonus and since I don't see that local often it was a nice surprise to see it even if it was just 2 GP38-2s with a boxcar in between. After 39G came and went knowing 38G and any other traffic wouldn't be due for several hours after dark I headed back home. Enjoy!

_Take the last train to Pottstown, and I'll meet you at the station..._
That last train had 204 cars and 4 Locomotive's. Amazing! Great vid, thanks.
Near my hometown of phoenixville. I can hear them as they approach the blackrock tunnel (ive walked through it before) Always get caught at the crossing in royersford on my way to my girlfriends.
Nice catch Thunder
I used to live there and go railfanning all the time I’m so excited
Congrats on hitting 80k
You should railfan along the Jersey Coast! We got nice passenger and freight action there!
Great video.
Will we get the train crash you pranked us with later
Great video
I saw 66E on the virtual railfan horseshoe curve camera.
You should do the wreck of the old 97 in 1903!
YES
Look forward to the video. Did you see my reaction and the comments I put on your last video. The April fools prank one?

Hey I live in the town where the train was invented
The Pennsylvania Railroad and the Reading Company were once bitter rivals in their heyday.
Their duel continued in the 60s when PRR became PC but Reading kept their identity. However neither side came out victorious when PC went bankrupt in 76 and Reading was drafted into creating CR with the former NE roads bringing PC's remnants with them.
@@Thunderbolt_1000_Siren PC went bankrupt in 70, not 76.
@@Ih8kone Somewhat but no. "Although the PC was put into bankruptcy, its parent Penn Central Company was able to survive" The company held on but Hurricane Agnes was a huge blow (literally) in 1972. The government couldn't save them and then Conrail slurped em up in 76. Almost all of their passenger service including the NEC and Keystone also fell into Amtrak's hands in 71.
@@Thunderbolt_1000_Siren Milton Schapp knew that it was a disaster waiting to happen, and he was right.
NS 1107 had a burnt out light.
A train derailed in Hualien yesterday. Can you make a video about it?
Sorry to say but in one of his videos he commented on a similar post saying he's not taking recent derailments or crashes
Maybe the Montparnasse derailment? (The one in Hugo)
Wow, you caught 2 ethanol trains?😃
1 Ethanol 1 Crude Oil actually
@@Thunderbolt_1000_Siren 😣 🤦♀️
damn trains are massive in the US compared to Europe!
These trains were only mild in length. Longest one I remember was an NS 39G with 298 cars and was 18k feet long.
Hey Thunderbolt, can you do the 2016 Chester, PA Train Derailment because Today marks the 5th anniversary? That will be cool if you did the 2nd ACS-64 wrecked.
Trains in America are so mammoth
Question from the uninitiated- what’s the purpose of one boxcar at the end of all the tank cars?
what music did you use?
How long was train with two locos in the middle?
Have you ever caught a stowaway on camera before?
What’s the intro music?
What's the location of the train station you were at in pottstown?
It’s along High street
When the pogchamp is sus 🙀 did you see it? Real 💯
Lol
Guys if you see this go sub to Zachary Conrad

Retitled. Still exists

H49 is usually small but they have to have 2 engines in a push pull configuration due to many reverse moves they need to do.
