Keyword i took away from this video of Ibadan is "Vibrant city". It is actaully an ancient city with huge historical heritage and sites with the old structures still standing like those in Rome, long before the British arrived. These parts are more or less the new cities. Welldone Rosemary you're doing an amazing job. Many Nigerians haven't even been to more than 2 cities within Nigeria😅
It is actually wrong to refer to Ibadan as an ancient city. History has told us that Ibadan was formed as a war camp around 1700-1800s. As a matter of fact, the book of David Hinderer put Ibadan population at around 55,000 around 1860. However if you look at other Yoruba cities like Ila Orangun, Ijero-Ekiti, Owo, Aramoko, Ijebu… those are really ancient towns and cities that have been around as long as anyone can remember.
Ibadan is NOT an ancient city. It is probably the youngest of the Yoruba cities.

It is One of the landmark and historic building in Ibadan.

This is a Kenyan who traveled all the way from Kenya and show the extreme beauty of Ibadan then we have a certain tribe who act like curse, travel to Ibadan leave all the nice view I'm looking at here went to Ibadan acient part that is not up to 3km and snap its roof and spread it all over the internet and claim that's how entire Ibadan look like
