@@TonyStarks1986 The judges also took 0.1 points away from the Romanian gymnast for a phantom step out of the mat, which replay showed didn't happen. So the Romanian was ahead. But Romania doesn't have the bribe fund or pressure from corporate dollars to have legitamate protests acknowledged. They also don't have theraputic exemptions

what greatness, she clearly didn't deserve that medal. USADA and WADA confirmed that the USA and CHINA participated with juiced-up athletes, and both organizations covered it. Sadly, this is not about fair competition anymore when athletes on steroids are allowed to compete.
As a Brazilian and a fan of artistic gymnastics, I stand with Jordan Chiles because the feeling of training so hard, winning a medal, and then having it taken away is really tough and takes time to "heal." Of course, if the Romanian athlete truly deserved the bronze, she shouldn’t have to deal with an unfair score, so congrats to her. Sports can be like that sometimes, but that's life, and we have to learn lessons from the frustrations too.
When you see the gymnasts on the floor they look small and petite but in this interview she is bulked. Muscles galore 🔥

I see your point, but this is totally different. While Beyoncé and Kelly still will do a cameo performance with each other every couple of years, they’re very much solo acts and have been for a long time now. Jordan and Simone were competing individually, but also as Team USA together. So, it’s kind of impossible to not get asked about someone else from your country that won an individual medal in the same apparatus as you, helped with the team meal with some of the highest scores, and who played a role in helping you get to the Olympics. I think this is evidenced by how long Jordan spent answering the question herself.

From there, the coach has just four minutes to fill out a form and pay a $300 fee. If a coach files a second inquiry on behalf of her gymnast, the fee jumps to $500.

I AM AMERICAN, & I am totally against giving everyone an Olympic medal, just to make everyone happy. This is not some Kindergarten race.
The Romanian got the Bronze First ( though not at a medal ceremony) because U.S. used its influence & swayed the officials.
Finally IOC found that the appeal was late, which technically invalidated the appeal, because they themselves felt bad for stripping the rightful winner of the medal because of U.S. influence.
I pride myself in not being a ONE-SIDED American especially the spirit of Olympics calls for all nations to come together in mutual understanding, spirit of friendship, Solidarity & fair play.
THEN country with a kick-ass military & that prints the world reserve currency, exerts influence by banning Russia & Belarus from the Olympics, because of the Ukraine War. Who is providing the Ukrainians arms & money, & had made the war drag as long as it has.... OF COURSE NOT THE UNITED STATES... Then our friend ISRAEL is not banned because it has an influential friend on its side -- the same country that gives $$$ & arms again & has always fought proxy wars.
If Russia & Belarus got banned because of war, then World's Greatest proxy war instigattor should be banned too.
At least from 2028, let athletes from all countries compete in the Olympic Spirit regardless of the actions of Politicians. Olympics bans Political statements but What Buffoonery do we have today ??

Not fair! Judges really messed it up. I 'm not an expert but I remember that I was watching the women gymnastics competition on Eurosport and every time americans and romanians were competing ať the same time, we couldn' t see the romanians' routines but with a very few exceptions.

Let s be fair! Sport is about that! She took the bronz, because the jury "saw" that Sabrina exceeded the space of the carpet. The footage showed that this did not happen.
But is not just about Sabrina's heel!! It s about clear favoritism. Did they/the referees see that she touched the line? Most of them look of the end of acrobatic line.
Did they see that she left on one leg, by twisting at the acrobatic line? Get she a bonus for this?
Also, didn't the referees see the faulty landing on the first acrobatic line of Miss Chiles? Did they downgraded?
There is the fact that none of the gymnast on the podium respected the musicality of the artistic part - according to the scoring code: "musicality is the ability of the gymnast to render the artistic part through flow, form, intensity, interpretation and passion, not only by respecting the rhythm and the speed of music."
Didn't they see these?!
Now, a correction of the note/ score would mean admitting that they favored and was unprofessional.
Do they have the courage to admit it? Can American gymnastics have this courage?
It seems she did not win afterall and she has to ship the medal to Romania. If this is heartbreaking for you, so it was for us when we saw the Romanian flag falling to the ground off the shoulders of our athlete. No hate at all, but truth must prevail. They both worked hard, all are very young and all need to be protected. You don't necessarily have to win everything on this planet by all possible means.
Advice to young gymnast? Don’t cheat other people out of a medal

For example, if a gymnast intends to get difficulty score of 5.8 but only get 5.7, the gymnast can enquire, meaning the judges look at the routine again on video replay and see if they made a mistake or not in the difficulty they gave originally.
The judges felt they gave sabrina credit for the right difficulty score so her enquiry was “rejected” it’s called.
The judges felt they gave jordan the wrong difficulty score and actually that it was 0.1 higher than they gave her originally. Therefore the score gets changed and the enquiry is “accepted” it’s called.
