I wanted to call you to wish you a happy birthday but fate decided otherwise on 26 November 2023.
Final farewell on 12 December in Prague.

Beautiful tribute to a great we'll never see the like of again. I'm so grateful to have existed in the time of Killing Joke, still can't quite believe that we'll never get brutalised and caressed by their music in a gathering again. Great music that meant something, great people and great vibes - the gatherings were truly special places to be. I hope our paths cross again at some point.

Rest In Peace, Geordie Walker. My favorite rock guitarist, always. Saw him / Killing Joke perform twice in Boston in the early 90s. Geordie stood so gracefully & solemnly on stage while hammering out the most powerful AND beautiful guitar riffs. He is dearly missed.

The most ethereal riffs ever constructed. Geordie built sonic cathedrals for us to be enraptured by. The beauty of his legacy is beyond measure. Killing Joke has been the soundtrack to my sanity for 40 years.. This savage beauty I love.

loved this, met Geordie once... working at at Marshall amplification, he was visiting with Jah Wobble (Damage Manual) who was trying out bass amps. He smoked lots of my fags out the fire escape! great fella, put me at ease (huge KJ fan me) and talked about recording of the Democracy album... only scary part was when the wind blew the fire escape door shut and he tried to kick it in! awesome guitarist, so cool whilst he melted my ears!
RIP Geordie, still tears come just thinking about never hearing you and your guitar again, with something new, always was new and refreshing. Pure gold standard guitarist, musician, solid bloke with high standards but knew the suffering we all feel, the ones of us who can....
i miss you so much Geordie....Tu nous manques tellement grand homme...!!!! In 1980 Killing Joke change my musical life for ever....'cause of your sound....!!!!!!! Oh mon dieu ce son de guitare et ces nouveaux riffs si profond, européens et tribales...!

Thank you for all the personal clips of these fine gentlemen in front of and behind their curtains! Rest in Peace Geordie. When we lost Raven we had our Youth to hang on to. Without Geordie, it's hard to see a way forward. Please know KJ, we will still embrace a Geordie's echo...it's the killing joke after all.

2 of my favorite tracks, wonderful moments of the band, guys are simple, they just enjoyed music and beeing together, a GREAT band in my heart.I can' t hold my tears as I was so sad when Geordie left us, I met him once and the band, lovely people.
There s some gigs on the video where I was too (Paris, Lille, Antwerp ).
I still can't believe that it's probably over, the genius guitarist passed away, one of the best for sure. RIP RAVEN, RIP GEORDIE.

Killing Joke changed the history of music. And Geordie had an absolutely innovative style of guitar playing. No one had such a strong impact, without doing even 1 solo...he was totally dedicated to the balance of the band, without any protagonism.
