    Thanks for this video. This makes me sad. I wanted to do a Pinterest account for an author. He has 3 books. But if I just can share his links once a week, that means not that much traffic. And if I take into consideration that some of the pins people don’t like 😢. Many thanks for this information

    • @VividelliStudio
      @VividelliStudio Před 4 měsíci

      Maybe the author could make more content out of the 3 books, like small blog articles with introductions of the story? Or how about a blog post how the author was inspired to write the story in the first place. Maybe some background informations about the characters in the book?

    When you share to different boards... are they still actually available to be seen by anyone... or are they only available to people that see/find/Follow "that" board?

    Thank you for this very informative video! But one questions pops into my mind: Why don't post links to the homepage or main page? Can you explain the reason for this? Thank you!

    • @lukrezialaval2406
      @lukrezialaval2406 Před 4 měsíci

      As far as I understand, if you always pin just to your main page on your homepage, it's always the same URL, and the spam filter might activate sooner or later. And you can/should only post the same URL 15-20 times a year.
      But please someone correct me if I am wrong about this. I'm just learning everything Pinterest related.

    I’m a newbie and I’m creating a new blog post each week. From other Pinterest “experts” I thought I was supposed to do 10 fresh pins for each post and pin them to ten boards each (spaced out). Am I being to spammy? Oh no…

    • @NadalieBardo
      @NadalieBardo  Před rokem

      I'm not sure if you're saying that you are posting the same pin ten times or that you're saving ten pins each time ONCE. Do NOT save the same pin more than once.

    I am so confused by Pinterest. I wish they were more clear about what you can and can’t do. I thought (after getting banned on one account and doing an insane amount of research) that you were SUPPOSED TO (or at least ALLOWED to) use your Landing Pages’s URL as the destination link in your pins. I guess that’s incorrect? I was doing that because I thought you were NOT supposed to use affiliate links directly in pins. Now I’m just confounded. If you can clarity this, I would be hugely grateful!

    • @NadalieBardo
      @NadalieBardo  Před rokem

      Simple rule to remember: You cannot use the same link over and over - any link. The rules about affiliate marketing are however complicated. You need to read the rules of your affiliate program. I made a video all about this: czcams.com/video/JX7Xy0vu8oo/video.html

    Nadalie, thank you so much for this video. I am nervous I have a general podcast master page on my website with an embedded player and links to Apple Podcast, Sticher, Spotify. What do you recommend for sharing this URL with multiple episodes I am currently putting out 15 episodes per month. I really wanted to avoid doing a blog post or URL everytime a new podcast episode came out, but it looks like that might be the BEST way to do this. Love to know what you think? thank you!

    • @NadalieBardo
      @NadalieBardo  Před rokem

      Hey Brandon! How's the podcast coming along? You 100% want to share those links to YOUR website (blog posts or episode pages). Why? Because you can claim that website and track your progress. Also, one key to Pinterest success is having multiple links and creating new ones. You do NOT want to share the same main link over and over and over, that's spammy to Pinterest. Hope this helps!

    Hey there, great vid thanks. Question for you as I am left a little confused. Originally and at the end of the video you state don't share the same URL more than 15 times a year. In the bulk of the video you are saying use the same URL over and over but with different designs etc. This seems completely contradictory. Can you clarify this somehow please?🤷‍♂

    • @NadalieBardo
      @NadalieBardo  Před rokem

      It's not contradictory. I don't share the link more than 15 times, over and over until I hit my max. I usually only share links once a month, that's 12, or when they are in season for a few months, then stop until the next year.

      @@NadalieBardo Thanks! I do have other content. I thought focusing on one at a time for 2 weeks would make pining easier and more efficient. I guess NOT! But how many times a year can you safely use the same URL in a pin?

    • @NadalieBardo
      @NadalieBardo  Před 2 lety

      @@timtracy4228 There's no real answer to that question, I would focus instead on making sure you're not sharing the same links every day and wait at least a week before using them again.
