Y'know, honestly, I feel that the idea of BF hanging off the spike and just singing from where he's been impaled is more harrowing than being a disemboweled puppet.

Honestly I like the fact that you can’t really hear the speech in act 3 but you can also hear it but not that much, simply because it sounds better, now that I can really hear it here I dont really like his vocals but his vocals sound better when you can but also can’t really hear him if that makes any sense

That was the original lore for the cover, until it was changed to this being a thing where BF and GF didn’t run and instead won in the 3rd song and then they were told “go through star road (the rest of the mod) then return to me” this is what happens after Star Road, the BF in act 3 isn’t the actual BF though, just an illusion made by Ultra M to make GF weaker and scared, GF doesn’t manage to win and dies, but Ultra M let’s BF free.
Honestly, M should’ve killed BF in the OG mod, if he wanted GF to suffer as revenge for her father being a scumbag then he shouldn’t have straight up killed her! Just saying

After which, he offers Boyfriend a way out, he upheld his end of the deal after all but only him. Boyfriend doesn't want to leave Girlfriend along though and Mario notices and decides to give a new offer. If Boyfriend can go through all the star road (Rest of songs) and then one last song with him at the end, he'd let both go. Boyfriend accepts and boom. Only change I'd see during the route is perhaps a one on one unique song against Mr. Sys before All Stars. Mario isn't convinced Girlfriend is good to go though and so, takes Boyfriend at the end of the first act and brings a puppet version of him for act 3, not killing him since he was impressed by him to that point. Girlfriend then handles the rest of the song and most importantly, dodges Turmoil's last attack. That, is what seals the deal, letting the two go free. He does hope it winds up dragging Daddy Dearest in, after all, why wouldn't they tell him what happened? There. That should make the people angry about the bad ending happy there is a good ending alternative.
I love this perspective, but I also love this video’s use of the models in an easy-to-perceive animation view. I wanted to appreciate the designs of some of the enemies, but some of them move around so much.
My only complaints are that Puppet BF is way to quiet and, funnily enough, the mimics in Act 4 are slightly too loud. They end up overshadowing Ultra M. Just fix those two and this cover would be perfect!

I think that M, being able to kill Girlfriend, already wanted to withdraw from the fight, that's why he asks her "why are you still fight?". M only killed boyfriend because he didn't want to let him go, already happy with fulfilling his goal. M never wanted to kill Boyfriend, his actions led to his own death

He’s small because the backgrounds and pipes are one image so I couldn’t put him behind the pipe so I made him smaller and put him ON a pipe instead
