- In todays video we change out the clutch disk in out 1949 John Deere model A. After we get that done we take it through the 4th of July parade, mow down some sweet corn stalks, and tell a few "corny" jokes.

Nothing like hearing a 2 cylinder JD work. Thanks for sharing.
O.M.L! ... Wishing my MOM could see Y'ALL.. She's from Roan Mt.
loved the A’s, I’ve owned a few B’s, H’s but never an A but always wanted one, I wished I never got rid of those old poppin johnnys my grandpa had.
Good to see the ole A back in action.
You guys can always make me laugh. Hee haw!!
We may have more hee haw parodies coming lol
Nice work on the tractor. Very entertaining.
Heehaawwww!!! Loved it guys.
Don't you love it when a quick fix turns into an all day'er. Now if you can get Robert hooked up with a Nurse Goodbody lol. Have a good one
😂😂😂 The Hee Haw honeys
Ole girl is looking and sounding good. Enjoyed the comedy!!
Man i haven't heard that in a long time you hoodlum kids Lol 😆😆😆 👍👍👍
Same here Lol.
That was the tractor back in mine and yalls dad hay day my dad was born in 1932 and he told me he drove one a many days and a b too
Y'all crack me up, throwback to the good old days, HEE HAW!! That Deere purrs well, I do regret getting rid of my last A now, would be cool to use it some with this older equipment. Probably wouldn't do well in field work though really, was far from stock. Regardless I like y'all's, and using it to cut stalks!! Bruiser sure does listen very well, he tried to get away😂😂, but right in the seat where you told him!! Those clutches are very simple, perfect setup they had!! I think I have an extra fork if you ever need one again. Thank you for bringing us along, look fwd to more!!
I love how simple these tractors are.
@@DylanJoyceFarms Yes sir!!
HeeHaw, lol, loved it. The old "A" sounds great and still getting it done.
Hee Haw. 👍 you need to get Mat and Kelly Griggs to do a guest shot.
Haha! We have actually hung out off the farm!!!! ☺️
🤣 you wild guys are quite the act.
If y’all had one of them fancy turbo tills you wouldn’t have to get the old A out. Better stick with what you got !
There is something so satisfying about the sound of the old two cylinder John Deeres
Yessir I agree
Lol heehaw my dad had to watch that show every Saturday night
I just found your channel and I love it. I’m from East Tennessee. Blountville not far from the Bristol speedway. I love the old iron. Keep the videos coming.
I appreciate you watching. Which video did you find us through?
@@DylanJoyceFarms I think it was the one you were dropping the auger out of the combine.
I really enjoy your videos!
Thank you sir!
GOOD LORD!.....❤
Pretty darn nice! I like the camera work too.
Thank you.
3:37 - Rain is a good thing. Rain makes corn and corn makes whiskey. Whiskey makes my baby fell a little frisky.......
THAT DOG IS GOING TO GET CHOPPED UP PLAYING WITH THAT BRUSH HOG
It’s the dumbest dog that ever lived.
I spent a lot of long hot hours on one of those as a kid.
I enjoy playing around on it, but I don't see how you guys did it all day every day.
@@DylanJoyceFarms We just didn't know any better.
Funny how them cattle dogs can't help themselves. Got to herd something, even if it's a brush hog. We had one that would tear up a remote car.
That's a spiffy looking a my dad has a 48 a it reminds me a lot of his a
Good video if you got that fork in on the first try congratulations I have wrestled them many times before. One of you is going to have to take up the banjo there in cornfield County lol
We were taking bets on whether anybody got the reference.
@@DylanJoyceFarms that was the highlight of my week when I was a kid
I'm first. Awesome video as always. You guys crack me up. Just love the Johnny popper.
Congratulations on being first!
@@DylanJoyceFarms lolololol
You gonna plant a second run of sweet corn? Its late but Ive had a decent second sweet corn patch before.
I guess we are done with sweet corn for the year. I believe we are going to take the breaking plow and turn it under then put some kind of cover crop on it.
Why were you cutting the corn down was the bush hog buddy from Nebraska
This was our sweet corn patch. We pulled the sweet corn last week. We are mowing the stalks because we are getting ready to plow the garden under.
Did you put electronic ignition on it me and my dad just put electronic ignition on his 48 a and it really works well
I was going to put electronic ignition on it but ended up putting on a new magneto. We also bought a new carburetor for it. It runs like a new one now.
Has it been on a dyno
I have never dynoed it. Not even sure how many horsepower they were rated at.
What size stack is that
A 3 inch I believe
Corny 😂
Your intro is wayyyyyy too long.
There's a little invention called the fast forward if you dont like it.
