Almost every collector can afford rarities like this and they would be a nice highlight of every collection. Radek, thanks for this video. Are there many forgeries of the Sarre Double overprint? I seem to remember reading somewhere that there were many forgeries of the different Germania series. Like many others I am not in a position to spent that kind of money on individual stamps. This is such a fun hobby. My collection at the moment centers around THird Reich stamps, and propaganda postcards. Greetings from Creston British Columbia Canada
well, I have to admit that I have not seen any forgery of this overprint yet. However, it does not mean taht there are not any. The easiest way to find out is always to get a certificate... Many German stamps were and still are forged. the double Sarre overprint is not "so expensive" - some of the propaganda cards cost much more :-) But collecting should not be just about money - it should be about a good feeling and fun on the first place 👍 I am glad you like the video, please share it with your friends - thank you!
