Una, it was already well explained by an expert Publisher and supported by individual editors that you just can't publish or distribute books without them undrgoing appropriate proof- reading, inspection, case studies, analysis etc before they reach the kids.
It's the same as quality assurance. When it comes to the children's cognitive and reading skills, naturally, the books or reading articles must be deemed appropriate in all aspects.
Second, their guest also mentioned about the ethical and moral implications of demanding large amount of money for a general storybook (nothing new) wherein the author is a public official... Haven't you seen Sara's photo with a bio of her held government positions? Kaya nga political masyado...then you want her fund to come from people's tax money? There's a conflict of interest. I once had a very precious experience of conducting a storytelling session to a big group of grade 3 students. I saw how the kids listened carefully to every word I said. After the session, I asked some very simple questions just to check if they were able to understand the story. Based on their response, they did understand and enjoyed the story. It clearly proves that helping children to read and helping them to love reading is a VERY SERIOUS PROJECT. It is not something that should be done out of someone's selfish and malicious motives.

Wala naman siya nasabing specific paragraph or image sa libro na hindi appropriate. Very generic lang mga description ni Ma'am. Ang hanap ko kasi ung specific na vocab or image na hindi appropriate sa libro ni vp sara (like anong page number).
