- I've deleted my angry rant.. I just don't want it to be there anymore.. anyway-- I love this song, & I love Stevie Nicks. My favorite band is Fleetwood Mac because of her beautiful voice. & I wanted to re-do my old video because I did realize that despite me liking the song Meaning of Life, it did not fit that song what-so-ever & it was a bad mistake to use it as the intro. So, I felt the calm, beautiful instrumental of Coldplay would work a lot better. As for the lyric video itself, I hope I did the song & Stevie Nicks justice.
By the way, if the font is to dark for you to read, then you have vision problems. I debated this problem for the hole 2 hours I was working on this vid, & I decided that you can see it just fine, so don't virtually scream at me for it. You guys piss me off.
P.S. I thought it was actually pretty funny that the only comment that was pretty much saying to stop hating on the intro & get over it, some jackass marked as spam. Nice.

A song about dealing with life and all the ups and downs we have to face. One heartbreaking sentence made me cry "I built my lfe around you". The unique voice, so basic, makes the emotional impact of the song so much bigger. Truly touching, your rainbow.

I got married in 2009 and I thought for a long time about what song I would play for my father/daughter dance. I kept coming back to Landslide, mainly because he's a big fan of Fleetwood Mac/ Stevie Nicks and we used to listen to this song when I was little. As the music started playing for our father/daughter dance he looked down at me with tears in his eyes and said "You remembered". This song will forever be our song.
Now that's beautiful
I've loved this since it came out, time sure flies by fast, so many memories now
Thank you. This is exactly what i needed to hear at this moment. Once in a long while things get to be a little too much too handle and when that happens you leave yourself open.
It is at these moments that we realize the quiet passion in a song is what we need more than anger or heartbreak and it is that passion that moves you more than you realize it ever could.
Jeeez!! I'm crying when I hear this song. It is that beautiful.
I'm 18 and it's kind of close to the end of April and I graduate on June 6th and I'm scared. I don't want to move out or grow up. I'm just afraid. I miss being 12. Now I'm a senior soon to be graduate. This song just reminds me that I really am getting older.
+Delilah Sky Have to lol. When you're 65 you'll want to be 18 again :)
I know you posted this six years ago, but I'm 18 now and I graduated last year, and I've always been the nostalgic/introspective type, but man, it really does start to hurt when you realize "oh my god, I'm really not a kid anymore." And this song definitely hits me in the feels more than it used to. I hope you're doing well, six years after graduating and realizing sh*t just got real lol. Sorry if this is incoherent, it's five in the morning and I'm only here to have a breakdown
This is the song I requested to be played at my funeral. I know it sounds a little morbid, but I think it is a beautiful song written by my favorite artist and it is appropriate music for a funeral.
I was 14 when this song came out and it hit me hard, cause I was still a boy in Memphis. Wanting, I couldnt even make into words, but this hope, this thing I knew could happen. Thanks Stevie
This song reminds me of the pain I have caused my wife, and not to make the same mistakes as I did in the past. If I do, as the song says, she is "getting bolder", and I cannot live without her.
Cherish what you have folks- don't mess up.
When Coldplay played I thought you had the wrong song for a second xD
I love this song. I've heard it since I was young, and it is still an amazingly meaningful song. Beautifully done. I love the flower and color choice. Thanks for this song!
frickin love the informaton box. that made me laugh. thanks for posting this video up, and making me smile on a really rotten day.

I love this song ...it is one of my all time favourites...thanks for posting it....my husband is practicing playing it on the guitar ,and I am practicing singing it, so this video is very helpful
You did great. The font is plenty dark and easy to read. Merely putting the time and energy into making a video to honor the song you love is an awesome thing, and I appreciate. It was just what I was looking for. Don't listen to anything anyone else says. Be well and thanks so much!
Thanks for making the lyrics come up before they are sung. I hate when people put them up after... It's like having something translated late.
omg>>i love this song, it soo reminds me of me and my life!! Stevie is fuken awesome still today...really like the video w/the words..nicely done:))
omg thnx sooo much!!!!!!!! i swear its been like a year and a few months ive wanted to know what it was!!!!!!!!!!!! :D IM SOO HAPPPPPPY!!!!!!!!
Stevie is my favorite singer. Her unique voice & impassioned lyrics & style captured my heart & soul in the 70's & have never let me go (thankfully). Blessed to see her live in a small venue just weeks before 9/11, I have never forgotten that experience.
Stevie is truly an enchanting muse, and an incredibly gifted songwritet, poet, singer & performer.
I understand she has recently given her last solo concert, with plans to retire after the 2013 Fleetwood Mac tour - 'hope she changes her mind.
My life in song.... Stevie wrote some very awesome music, this song IMO, is the best of the best. Probably just because I relate to it so much. It brings tears to my eyes each time I hear it. Just awesome... Thank you, Stevie Nicks.
Beautiful, beautiful song.....says it all for me,touches my soul and expresses what I cant.....xxxxx
I am a product of the 70's & 80's music feast. Great Song! My friends & me were always in love with Stevie Nicks

this has to be one of the most emotional songs ive ever heard. One of the only songs that literally makes me wanna cry, I think I get a lump in my throat everytime I hear it
I love this song!!!! I discovered it in the jack frost movie and I heard it on the radio and I love it.
I heard this song years ago and fell in love with it. I haven't heard it in years!
Thank you for your kind words. It can be more difficult some days than others. It's the compassion of the world, from strangers like you who I do not know, that reminds me that the world is beautiful. Again, people like you are the unsung heroes.
Cool to hear two of my favorite songs together. :)
Dammit SP made me drop a manly tear. i only started watching this year and its ending :( only 7 more episodes!! I dont know if i can survive till october without it
This was my grandma's favorite song. I've listened to it at least a hundred times and I still can't listen to it once without crying.
This song is on a whole different level. Everything this day and age doesn't even come close to comparing to this song.
This song hits deeper during this season of change in my life. Seemingly, it brings me hope for the future.
Today, I finished reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Tonight, I performed with a great cast in a fantastic play called Our Town. It was opening night, and we pulled it off very well. I had this song in my head when I was in my dad's car, driving to my mom's house, with the windows down. I let the wind blow the sleeve my jacket around. The cold air felt refreshing on my arm, which had been under a stage light for a half an how. Tonight, I felt infinite.
c: i love this song it's so beautiful :)
Cant help but getting watery eyed when you know she dedicated this song to her father. jees , thats life.
: )
I love this song. Your video does great justice to this piece of music. Ignore the haters, you've taken a piece of art and made a part of it yours. Thanks for the upload.

Got here from South Park. I listened to this song as a kid and couldn't appreciate its beauty. Sitting here now as a young adult I can appreciate this song for the message it brings. It really makes you think.
GORGEOUS
@MyFavMusic123 It's a wonderful song that'd I'd never have listened to if not for that episode. Thanks for the video.

This is beautiful
If anyone contemplating taking their own life, read your post - they wouldn't do it. So well stated, poured out from the deepest wells of your heart. I'm sobbing from your sorrow and all the moments both you and your mother missed. I am so sorry.
Just love this.
This song explains everything i'm going through right now.. nothing stays the same, just have to move on and find happiness. Beautiful song to cry to.
Me and Dad heard this on South Park too, and he told me he use to sing this to me when I was a baby. I thought that was so sweet. I just had to check this song out after that :,)
this song was perfect for the south park episode.." well ive been afriad of changing cause ive built my life around you" i been watching south park since i was 7 and wasnt allowed to watch it cause my parents thought it was bad..any ways its always stuck with me as i got older and it is and always has been my favorite show...ppl cried when '' FRIENDS'' had its serise finaly ..i think its perfectly normal to love a tv show thats became apart of ur life

This is one of the prettiest songs from the 70's! Peace and Love, BobbyK
Very beautiful song!
love this song:)
I love this
This song really speaks to me right now. My life has changed drastically and I grew apart from one of my best friends that I had for 7 years. I notice that I'm starting to grow apart from the rest of my old friends. We talk less and less and we are starting to have less in common. I know it's only a matter of time before we take a large left turn from each other. I used to be afraid of us growing apart and moving on but now I embrace it. I'm ready for a landslide.
My absolute favorite!
achingly beautiful
this song allways makes me think of my mom :) i miss you so much and i love you. R.I.P Mom
All-time classic:)
How can anyone (let alone 197 people) give thumbs-down on this song?
this song was played at my grandma's wake. she loved fleetwood mac.
love this song ALOT :)
Love that song
@BlkzSoulja this song has me thinking of moms as well. keep your head up man! :)
listening on repeat. driving late at night in the car and hearing this song always makes me want to cry.
it speaks to you this song, like im getting older too, and i guess we all have to change, the people around us change,, and our life changes,
not everything can stay the way you wanted it to be forever.
Love this song! Stevie Nicks is one of the greatest singers ever and this song of hers is so peaceful. However........if I hear a mention of glee and THEIR rendition I'll lose it! Nothing compares to Stevie's version and nothing will!
doesnt matter how you got here...i love glee and i have always loved and known about stevie/fleedwood mac because i was raised listening to this type of music...its beautiful and so is glee(:
simply amazing what else can you say
This song reminds me of my grandfather. The lyrics seem to reach my soul like no other song ever has.
super pretty timeless song!
really hits home right now...
Wow.. what a song.. first listen
i
I know this song from the old movie Jack Frost (which I haven't seen in probably six years), then today I heard it on the radio and I cryed. I love this song soo much. I was raised on it.
I love this version because it is the original and Stevie is original... but I think Smashing Pumpkins was the best remake ever. I love both versions equally now and they always bring back memories. Stevie reminds me of mom, and pumpkins remind me of my youth. Two renditions of a great song that encompass two generations. Definite mark of a timeless classic.
i love this song, although i get kinda sad when i hear it. it played at my grandmas funeral..
Tough song...very tough song. It amazes me the music that came out of these two because of their relationship or lack of relationship. Amazing they could keep it together for as long as they did for performance sake.
This song once again reminded me of how much people change, and how like characters in south park a year ago I was a different person... Previously I saw this as other people changed, like my friends and family. Now as I am approaching 30, (I know not that old yet) but dealing with being a decent person and just being out there (in the concrete jungle and what not) this song made me realize I can just say... "Buh-bye" - :Drh
Happy Birthday Stevie!
the goat
hey thanks I like loads of others are probably going to be watching this video today thanks to the awesome episode of south park last night thanks!
favorite song of them ;)
@TheBigGman101 Totally agree with you, Stevie Nicks has one of most amazing voices I've ever heard. So much emotion.
beautiful yet sad too!
