The Nitecore EDC33 has a total output of 4000 lumens when on Lumin Shield mode. You'll get 1700 lumens on Search mode.
It has several useful features including a dedicated switch for locking and unlocking the light.
It also features a visual on-demand battery power indicator system.
Its USB-C charging port is optionally hidden.
The LED is comprised of 9 emitters all working together to produce a bright and very focussed beam.
Check out my written review with additional beam shots.
I have this EDC 33 & i really like it, Waiting for the EDC 35 to become available now with 5000Lm, 21700 6000mAh.
It's really odd that the light doesn't make use of the 8 flood leds in moonlight or low mode but instead only uses the center throw led which gives you a way too focused beam that is hardly useable for EDC tasks like illuminating the path in front of you or other close objects, weird. Apart from that major design flaw the light is quite amazing for dog walking purposes (half press to search for your dog, full press to deter other dogs from approaching). I removed the clip to assemble the lanyard.
I have the p20ix and agree, lower modes is better as flood, and focused for higher modes , but nitecore did the opposite
Built-in battery is the quickest way for a manufacturer to ensure that I never buy their flashlights. And yup, that also goes for rovyvons etc too.
I hear you! But if you own a LOT of lights and "rotate" the usage, I'd expect this one to hang on for a few years at least.
Yup! That's exactly the way i felt for years "But" i bought this Nitecore EDC33 knowing that the battery will probably still be going ok in 10-12 years or more just as i had a 10 Year old 18650 which still charged up to 4.19v and worked fine. there's also the fact that i don't have to stuff around with batteries all the time, it's just in there & always charged ready to go. When you have over 150 batteries & over 300 lights its nice to just plug it into USB type C & that's it. Now im waiting for the older brother to come on the market, the EDC35 21700 5000Lm.
Im Subbed here since 2018 I have a Question for You.
...all your flashes collection turns HOT ?
how many batteries exploded ?
Not sure if I understand your question. However I've never had an exploding battery....if that's what you're asking.
@@Lightsngear Mexico Suscriber sorry for my english... You own many lamps. its normal Warm or very hot ? i have some many lamps too, always worried for high temp and risk of burning batt.
Take the clip off first, use a butter knife to get the clip off, then put it on the way you want like i did.. Way too hard to do it with the clip on.
How about the batteray ? Can i change it in the future ?
Unfortunately no.
